Way off the beaten path, but so worth the drive. My fresh breaded chicken strips and fresh-cut homemade chips were excellent, my husband’s fresh pressed double cheese burger and fresh-cut fries were also delish. So good we forgot to take a pic. I did add one of my leftovers.The owners were delightful and friendly. Don’t forget to mark your town on the map! Take the time and dine at this great little place!

By shear chance I stopped by this wonderful little place in the middle of nowhere on the end of a 20 day golfing trip. Had the most amazing ham and bean lunch special. The food and the people are fantastic. The place felt more like a cozy family kitchen for a big family rather than a restaurant. One heart warming experience of my trip. God bless America for so many great places and communities.

The food there is very good, and the friendliness of the people make it even better! My wife and I came from Ohio to visit friends in the area and this little diner made our trip even more memorable. A real gem in the beautiful farmland of Illinois. We’ll be back.

My wife & I stumbled upon this hidden jem yesterday 8/3/22 about 15 minutes before closing, we weren’t going to order anything because it appeared they had already started cleaning the grills etc. The owner informed us it don’t matter if its 2 minutes till close they do not mind throwing another patty on the grill. Sooo what else is there to do lol wife and I agreed we will definitely be back again very soon!

Some of the best food, small town environment and prices you’ll find in the area. We use the restaurant 4 times a week for breakfast and will continue as long as they are in business. I have never had a bad meal here !

It is a fantastic family restaurant with the most kind and generous staff that treat you like family! You get plenty if home cooked food for a great price. The atmosphere is so tranquil with beautiful views and seasonal decorations. I would recomend this to any and all I know that are looking for great food, wonderful people, and that special down home country feel!
