This chinese restaurant has a feel of China as they have decorations based on the country. I really like the ambiance at the restaurant. The food was good. We ordered the orange chicken, brazed pork belly and the drunken noodles. The drunken noodles and pork was great but the orange chicken had an intense orange smell but it wasn’t that bad. We will definitely try more items in the future but it was definitely a good experience. The server could be a little friendlier as good service gives customers a good feel. Overall, definitely try this place out as it gives a feel of having food in China.

Located in Rockville, MD, Wang Manor (formerly known as “Big Wang”) promises a grand dining experience with its newly renovated interior and traditional Chinese decor. The grandeur of the traditional Chinese-style décor creates an inviting atmosphere. However, despite its potential, the lack of patrons during our visit and the resulting absence of bustling energy took away from the overall ambiance. From the moment we were seated, I couldn’t help but notice the overused chopsticks with mismatched colors, which unfortunately triggered a less than favorable impression on my appetite. Furthermore, dirty dishes were piled up in the middle of the otherwise beautiful dining hall. The loud and distracting music playing during our dinner hindered any chance of a peaceful dining experience. Additionally, our orders were mishandled, and a wrong dish was served to our table with the lack of an alcohol license, created a subpar dining experience.

Very solid Chinese food place. The dishes are either a total hit or a miss from what we got. We ordered some shrimp that hasn’t been cleaned properly and was difficult to eat. The chicken and potato was very tasty and our go to dishes there.

Sichuan GOLD MINE: this place is PHENOMENAL and such a gem for our area. Not only is it aesthetic and super cute, but the food was scrumptious. The minute I got home I called my parents to tell them I’ll be bringing them here to check it out, they recently talked about wanting to take a trip to NYC for some Sichuan and this will 100% satisfy their craving.

We went for a quick late night dinner, not really expecting much and were pleasantly surprised when we had one of the best Chinese meals in a while. The food was delicious we got the Sea Bass, Chicken in Chili oil, Braised Pork Belly, and Oyster Pancake. There were all delicious and incredibly flavorful. Although we were the only people in the restaurant at the time we were still treated very well and our server was very prompt. The food came out in a timely manor and was nice and hot. The decor was also very beautiful, without looking tacky and reminded me of Chinese dramas. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try some real Chinese cuisine.
