First time here in Owensboro and the Hotel clerk recommended Wasabi 54. As I walked into the door I was greeted by several of the staff. Also observed they are supporters of FOP. Taylor was my waitress and she was super helpful in finding what I want. Next time I’m back into town I will be eat here again.

Went to this modern, welcoming restaurant for dinner. Our server, Taylor, was attentive, pleasant, and very helpful in checking for less common allergy ingredients. One in our party is a vegetarian; was offered double salad in lieu of soup which contained beef broth (as soup and salad are included with the teriyaki tofu dinner). Portions allowed each of us to enjoy our meals and take home leftovers for another meal. Restaurant was very busy with all visible booths in use (on a TUESDAY night)! Clearly we are not the only ones enjoying what Wasabi 54 has to offer.

Absolutely loved this place! The avocado salad is incredible! The sushi was wonderful and at 50% off it was a nice touch as well. I give them 5 stars and that’s rare coming from me. Only thing if I had to complain was I think our waitress was having a bad day, she seemed to be in what seemed like a hurry or kinda dry. But the food was to die for!

I always enjoy going to Wasabi 54. Great Japanese restaurant with lots of options. My favorites would have to be the Chicken Fried Rice bowl, the hibachi platters, the crab rangoon, and the deep fried sushi. Service is always solid and it’s a clean place. Food is super consistent. Good portion sizes. Really no complaints whatsoever.

Save your money and go to Shogun Express instead. Their food and customer service is by far better. My Broccoli was served cold and the noodles I ordered came out about 10 minutes after the rest of my food. Safe to say I won’t be spending anymore of my hard earned money at this establishment.
