I had high expectations when going to this restaurant. I could have ordered anywhere else, but I chose to give this restaurant a try, and they not only charged my card double the amount i paid but lied to me on the phone when i called them back on why they charged my phone again after 5 days of me going to their restaurant, the food was terrible. The VEGGIE rolls had pork in it which was very disappointing and disrespectful to those who don’t eat pork. when i called to inform them on what they have done they hung up the phone on my face. Save your money or invest it in a restaurant that appreciates your service and money, don’t bother coming here to these theifs!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I ordered my food and they were so rude over the phone. Once I got my food they made me wait a half an hour and I called in advanced to order my food. I opened my food and started to eat. After a few bites I find a piece of hair in my food. This is disgusting. I payed for this food and this is what I get. Very disappointing. Would not recommend at all

The sushi is amazing, perhaps my favorite in Michigan, and service is always attentive. I’d rate atmosphere better, but the entire restaurant space is currently filled with supplies, so dining is now limited to a few tables behind it in the Park Shelton lobby. Nevertheless, it’s well worth a visit to Wasabi.

Their spicy mayo has to be one of the spicies one I’ve had so far! The food is delicious considering the area it’s located. There is no dine-in and their ordering area is extremely small for the amount of business they get. If you are walking to this area there is no waiting area inside so Def recommend taking a seat next to the DIA building while you wait for your food to be ready! But even so the wait time is never long.

Food is ALWAYS great! I know it may sound cliche but I’ve NEVER had a bad experience here! The owner is a very nice guy and the sushi chef John and waiter Kyu are awesome and guarantee a pleasurable problem free experience! Where I go when I want great sushi and Korean food and they definitely always treat us like family and make us feel like we’re at home. Wish I could give 10 stars

My girlfriend and I were here on Wednesday, 03/09/22 we ordered the Popcorn Lobster Roll, Dungeon Dragon Roll, Double Shrimp Roll, Hulk Roll, Ninja Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Shrimp Roll, Seaweed Salad, Miso soup and Masago. Totaling slightly over $100…..It was our first time here but not our first time having sushi in Michigan. We both agreed, BEST SUSHI IN MICHIGAN!! If i could give more than five stars, I would. I hope we can come back before leaving Detroit. I highly recommend Wasabi! Our server, Sarah (spelled the right way, with the H) was phenomenal. I have had MANY bad experiences with people and their attitudes in this state but she was such a sweetheart, thank you.

I eat lunch here almost everyday, prices and location are great. Safe area very clean and close to all the museums. The staff is very attentive and there also a area for bigger groups. I love the specials and the food is delicious .
