Wasabi has been a great sushi joint for years. Tasty rolls keep me coming back, even though I haven’t lived in the area for a long time. Midwest sushi was once unthinkable unless you lived in a big city, like Chicago. I can happily say that Wasabi gives ’em a run for their money. Pricier than your usual Edwardsville restaurant but worth every penny.

The best sushi masters North of the Missouri River! Food was amazing wasn’t overly expensive. The service was very nice and made sure I was doing great without being excessive. The sushi chefs were also very friendly and when they weren’t busy told me about the different fish and other ingredients in the cold box.

Beautiful presentation and great service. My boyfriend and I forgot to mention his allergy to avocado when we ordered three rolls, but the waitress smoothly took it back and we got a new plate. I hope someone got to eat them—the ones we got were delicious, as was the poke bowl I ate. The rolls included the Mr. Kim and the one with scallops.

From a roadtrip, Drive all the way from Milwaukee to have a very good sushi at the Wasabi Sushi bar, all food are typical like other restaurants. I ordered a plate of varieties of sushi as the picture I showered her from online and sashimi, bento box and an appetizer. We waited quiet awhile for the food to come out. The waiter did not bring out the sushi just the sashimi. I asked what about the sushi? The waiter said ur sashimi is there. I showered her the picture of sushi. She did not order it and have to wait longer. I was very upset that I came with 4 people, and very hungry from the road trip plus food were not enough to fulfill us. And we drove pretty deep inside the city from the highway. I did not hear any apologizing or good customer service from the bar. Not too happy about it.

We had the Yakisoba with chicken and the bento box with shrimp. Both were excellent. Also for appetizers we had the California roll and the Rock and Roll. The Rock and Roll I highly recommend. It’s an excellent dish. Aubreyanna was our server and she was very friendly and was always there when we needed something. Can’t wait to come back

Superior quality and flavor. The ingredients are fresh and constructed together well to create an amazing roll. This is a wonderful environment to relax and socialize and the large windows allow in plenty of natural light. I would highly recommend this location to anybody in the area.

I love this place!! They were so kind to me. The service was excellent and the meal was absolutely delicious. I was celebrating my 37th year of marriage to a wonderful guy. I was celebrating alone because he has been ill. When I told my server the story, she was more than kind. Amazing bunch of people!

Our waitress Jess was really cool but the food was actually like hard to eat. Rock hard tofu, underripe avocado, bland, mushy veggies. Miso soup was actually so disgusting, it tasted like dirty dish water. I’m actually kinda in disbelief that some place so bad could be rated so high. This meal ruined my night
