Definitely not a generic sushi outfit. My first impressions were of the non forced friendliness of the staff who seemed genuinely happy to serve us. Sushi variety was great to see. Timing was spot on. Food presentation was lovely and artistic, and delicious. This is what winning looks like.

This is our favorite family spot! It’s our normal Friday tradition. The customer service is always incredible & the food is even better! Lucky to have such a great sushi place right down the street!

Went on a Saturday afternoon at around 3PM. Had high hopes after reading others’ reviews. There was no one in the restaurant except us. The service and responsiveness of our server was poor. Not sure why especially since we are the only 3 people in the restaurant. We ordered 2 tempura dinners and the 30-piece sashimi sushi combo. The tempura took a little bit of time to get to the table and understandably so. The tempura dinners got to the table and the sushi sashimi didn’t. From my view, I could see that the sushi chef had been doing nothing since our arrival. And even after we placed our order, he was doing nothing. So my other companions had to wait for my sushi sashimi. Why? The sushi chef had zero orders other than mine! What was he doing? A long 10 minutes later, my sushi sashimi arrived. It was the most plain looking and undesirable plate of food I’d ever seen and certainly does not warrant being Japanese. Most chefs take pride in displaying the 18 pieces of sashimi and 12 pieces of nigiri. Not this one. And, it was placed on a bed of shaved carrot instead of daikon — yuck. The taste just was not appealing and did not go together. There’s a reason why daikon is used. Substituting with cheap carrot for this $49 entrée is just wrong. The tempura dinner was okay but leave out the broccoli. Frying broccoli in tempura batter just produces a yucky mess of uncooked batter in the middle. And, please use a regular sauce dish so that we can actually dip the tempura in. The sauce came in a tiny portion cup that is about 1.5 inch diameter. None of the tempura could be dipped in the sauce. And our server was nowhere to be found after he dropped the food off. He never checked back and disappeared for a really long time. I finally had to go to the sushi bar to get sauce dishes appropriate for dipping. It would be okay, and just okay to go back for the cooked dishes but can’t justify going back for sushi and sashimi. Yet another pseudo sushi place. And service was frustrating even though we’re the only ones there.

Done with this place. Would give 0 stars if possible. Awful experience again. First, the food is overpriced for what you receive. Ordered chefs special and house special. Arrived early for pick-up. Our food this time was ice cold after driving a whopping 1 mile home. Worse still our food looked like it was dropped on the floor and seasoned with dirt. Save your money and time and drive the extra distance to another restaurant either on Riverstone or TLP. Seriously considered calling health inspector after seeing the condition our food was in. Will never go back to this place.

This place is my absolute favorite local place to grab sushi. If you are around the Canton area this place is a must go. My girl and I always get three rolls to split each time we go, 2 random ones, and the must try we get every time the Bonsai Tree Roll!

Tonight was our first time trying Wasabi and we were pleasantly surprised! really good quick service, and pretty amazing food! From the sushi to even the kids meal was delicious and HUGE for the price! wish I remembered our server’s name because he was great and interacted with us and our one year old 🙂 we will definitely be back to try more rolls!

The food here was mediocre at best. The house fried rice didn’t taste fresh and barely had any vegetables other than an occasional pea. I couldn’t tell the steak, chicken and shrimp apart… The food score is a 70 and the food quality and taste definitely reflects the score… I will not be back

Very good sushi! Presentation was excellent. Very tasty and very good portions. I normally can eat two rolls easily but was incredibly full after 1.5. Service was excellent!!!

Large size portions, absolutely worth the money. More of a takeout place than eating. But would highly recommend.
