Requires reservation and deposit. An extensive collection of bourbon from floor to ceiling. Cool atmosphere with bourbon barrels hanging from the ceiling. Food and cocktails were amazing. We enjoyed the lobster hush puppies and our entrees. Best pork I’ve ever had. Friendly and fast service with time to linger. The GM came around to every table introducing himself and offered suggestions off the bourbon menu. Will be returning the next time we’re in Louisville.

We had a group of 16 and the reservation was made several months in advance. The atmosphere was very cool. Unfortunately for 16 people they relegated one server. We ordered some cocktails and wine which were fine. However, after arriving at 7 PM for our reservation, we finally left at 9:07 when the food was nowhere in sight. We waited well over 90 minutes for them to bring our dinner. Remarkably, one of the servers commented that this happens weekly. I guess if you know it’s a problem accommodating a large group, you should tell people you can accommodate them versus having them waste their valuable time. I can’t say we will ever go back based upon this experience.

We visited Watch Hill Proper for the first time tonight. It did not disappoint! The ambiance was cozy and fun for a date night, the entire service experience was top notch – knowledgeable, attentive, personable; the cocktails were creative and tasty (including a mock tail!) and the food was flavorful and unique. We will visit again soon. Thanks for a nice kid-free evening out.

I wanted to check this place out because of their great selection of bourbons, which indeed they do have. They have some pretty rare items, but the prices for those are pretty high, a bit too high for me. We did try out some of the bourbons (not the very sought-after one) and did enjoy them as well as the cocktails. The ambiance was pretty nice (reminds me of a place back home) , and our service was decent. For dinner, I did enjoy the steak tartare, Sake Katsu Iberico Secreto, and Pasta Bolognese.

Wow! What an absolute amazing place. Some of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. Beautiful cocktails and amazing banter. Staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic. Not to mention they have a few bottles of whiskey there. Cant wait to go back.

Always an outstanding experience. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, cocktails are delicious, thoughtful and sophisticated menu options and Chef Michael Crouch is one of our favorites in the city. This bar has a phenomenal bourbon selection!! Rumour has it they have the largest bourbon selection in the WORLD !! I highly highly recommend if you are looking to try some hard to find stuff. And their cocktails are perfectly balanced and some of the best I’ve ever had.
