Excellent Japanese restaurant. Sushi was very good. Very fresh fish and ample portions. Sushi rolls were also very good. The beef teriyaki was very well done and the rice made it perfect. We were there during a downpour and the staff accommodated everyone inside quickly and efficiently. The staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning.

Not half bad for a cute small-ish stone harbor haunt. Nothing to write home about but it’s safe and accessible in a place where you might not otherwise be able to find this type of cuisine. Menu stand outs will be of course the sushi and Teriyaki. Sashimi and sushi combos of course always a hit.

This was my first time in Cape May and I will surely be coming back for this restaurant alone!! Firstly, the service was incredible. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. Our food came out relatively quick and was delicious. Being from New York, sushi is something I eat weekly so I consider myself a pretty good sushi critic. Water Lily is hands down one of the best, most authentic sushi places I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The sunshine roll is a MUST if you love salmon and their dragon roll is phenomenal. The sushi was decadent, fresh, and not chewy at all. Very high quality ingredients for a reasonable price. If you’re in the area, this is a must!

Went there one day just to try it out, and i was so upset i hadn’t visited sooner. The food is AMAZING. Had to get it twice two days in a row. The fried pork dumplings are so delicious. I got the shrimp tempura rolls too and they were well worth the 10 dollars. Will definitely be coming back more often.
