Water Street Cafe is a seasonal outdoor corner cafe on Ashland’s Plaza offering fresh delicious food and drinks. Our customers say it reminds them of a beach cafe or at a sidewalk cafe in Europe. It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with wide appeal. We have been serving Ashland with the same ownership since 2001 offering delicious wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, hot dogs, polish dogs, salads, our locally famous cafe cup, burritos and more. We also offer a wide array of beverages including italian sodas, fruit smoothies, espresso coffees, beer and wine. Enjoy eating outside in the fresh air while enjoying watching the world go by. I have been a regular here for awhile. I appreciate the outdoor living room vibe. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious, with a lot of veggie options. Being a city girl foodie enthusiast makes it tricky to find that perf coffee spot; & Water Street has def provided a welcoming & overall positive atmosphere to chill and decompress. Thank you The dogs are an added bonus to the overall dining experience.

My man and I have been to Ashland many times but Monday the 18th was our first time here. We both thought from the looks of it was just a little coffee stand with like the frozen breakfast sandwiches kinda place and we were soo wrong. I got an Italian soda that was so good, we got a breakfast burrito that was only $8 and it was such a good size, not to mention the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. We got the meat lovers one, everything in it was fresh and cooked perfect, The service was amazing And it is such a cute little outside Café we will definitely be going back. I was also told they one of the workers they have live bands that are free to watch everyone once in a while but we’re from out of town and couldn’t make it, however I thought that was cool to add!

I work across the street. It has been an easy place to get lunch. It has been tasty. But new cook as of yesterday has made never want to be there. Order chicken Caesar wrap that should be pretty simple. I had bdfore. From first bite tasted different to point that I had to say something. The owner mumbled about having to train new people. I told there was no cheese in it. She brings rewrapped there is cheese. And tell me there was cheese in there but only I little bit. I continued to eat everything its fine until the last few bites. I bite in and it was this strong rancid taste in my mouth from the lettuce. Its in insane because it was not there before. I stopped eating. I see the cook come out. I see him touching all of surfaces with his bare hands. Cross contamination….gross. Got up and left. Didn’t bother tell owner because it was clear my observation would be met with defensiveness. I have been in my bathroom all night with a bed stomach. You get my point. Sorry but tell your cook to wash his hands.
