My first time here and I will for sure be back. I was in town for the day and stopped in for lunch. I had the catfish with brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. I ate every last bit of this meal. I really wanted to try the fried green tomatoes and it was hard deciding because everything sounded really good. Definitely try the Georgia gold sauce if you stop in, I dipped everything in it and would have bought a bottle of it if they sold it. My server was very pleasant. They have a outdoor seating but it was a humid day so I sat inside. Prices are reasonable. Their brunch menu looked good too!

We stopped in for lunch and it was great to sit in the outdoor eating area, which is dog friendly. The food and service were both excellent! We also enjoyed the view of this cute little town while eating.

If you are downtown on the walking mall, this place has great food! Clean, friendly service, and quaint atmosphere. The pot roast melt on rye, poppyseed salad, double cheeseburger, and key lime pie were all delicious. Alcohol also available. Highly recommend a visit.

Such a fun spot! We went for lunch on a Saturday. It’s a busy place so plan accordingly. Parking could be a challenge due to its downtown location but the short walk would be worth it! The restroom was clean and well stocked. The food was delicious and the atmosphere casual and comfortable. Look forward to returning!

My expectations were shattered hard. Based on other reviewers and ratings I was expecting some delicious food. I thought they were pulling a joke on me when I received my food.

It was odd for me to do a “sit yourself” type of place to eat but I was so surprised at how fast we were helped! The food came out and was so delicious! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Winchester!

Pretty cool place to visit while in downtown Winchester! Was a bank at some point and now is a bar. Small menu for food, looks like mainly a drinking spot. Would recommend if you wanted to grab a quick drink.

Stopped in Winchester VA on our way to New York. Had a lovely dinner at a cozy restaurant in Old Town. It was a small dining area with a lot of attentive staff. Tons of wine and beer lined the walls around the room.

It was a beautiful day for a road trip to Winchester, VA. We were looking forward to enjoying lunch outside in the November sunshine. Our first choice didn’t pan out and we then stopped at Water Street Kitchen – which should have been our first choice all along! We enjoyed our lunch on the Walking Mall and did a little people watching. Our lunches were very good (except I forgot to request lightly toasted on my Ruben), the fries were hot and plentiful. Our server was great! The receipt says Sizzler (18). He took very good care of us. My daughter enjoyed the Chicken Caesar wrap. Not the least expensive lunch we’ve ever had but we enjoyed our Water Street Kitchen experience.
