We arrived at almost closing time and they were gracious enough to seat us. The food came out fast and I had the turkey salad that was very good – I think the best was the Rubin sandwich which was excellent. Around the other side of the building is the Wheel ‘museum’ well worth a visit -it’s why I have so many photos…

My wife and I stopped in the other night. In the parking lot we were greeted with an overwhelming stench of sewage from somewhere around the area. We wanted to eat outside, thankfully the smell was just in the parking lot. Our waitress was friendly but was not well trained on timeliness as our appetizers came out and less than 5 minutes later our main meal so we didn’t have time to eat the appetizers and enjoy ourselves. My wife’s ceaser salad came out dry with no dressing, and my French dip was not very good to the point that I left most of it and didn’t take it home. Surprised as it seems like a popular place in the area, maybe we just visited on a bad night.

We met with 15-20 women for a happy house outside area. Awesome time. We ordered appetizers and had lots of cocktails. The female bartender was very friendly and quick. The food was very good. They have a great happy hour menu.

First time I received a meal with scissors. Apparently to cut the cheese with. I thought this was what a knife was for. Not sure when French onion soup became red – it went back uneaten. The onion rings are excellent and chicken with fig sandwich really interesting – worth trying. Great service and nice place to visit. Will come again at some point I’m sure.

Here in the basement for a coed baby shower. There servers are awesome, the food was delicious, and the place is gorgeous. Will come back for dinner to this out of the way gem.

I hosted my husbands 40th birthday party at the Water Wheel Tavern and have to say it was such a wonderful experience! The food, staff, space (we were in the cellar bar), and overall attention to detail were all superb and so appreciated! Everyone had a wonderful time. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a venue to anyone looking for a laid back space with excellent food and service!

Place is really cool. Food was excellent! For apps, we had cheesesteak egg rolls, which came with a Blanco cheese sauce and it was amazing! I got the Thai chili salmon, it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The smokehouse burger was huge! They definitely don’t skimp on that portion size. Drinks were tasty and for dessert we got the apple xango with ice cream. So so tasty! I can’t wait to go back and try more items! Also, Harry our server was great!

Had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. High quality, perfectly cooked and lots of flavor. The French onion soup was great and the best cheesesteak egg rolls we’ve had, we actually had to order more they were so good and gone so fast! Can’t wait to be back to sit outside in the nice weather

Loved my visit last Saturday! Went for the live music, which was fabulous, and enjoyed the company of friendly strangers at the bar, as well as a good burger. Sampled a French wine that I really liked, but didn’t want something that dry that night. Ordered a Manhatten instead, which was just perfect!
