I enjoyed eating here, the food was delicious, and our server was well mannered and not overly friendly. The prices are a little on the high side, especially the bbq pulled park with Mac and cheese when you hardly got anything.

Wanted to have a nice dinner on our girls trip, and this place had excellent reviews so we decided to give it a try. I’m writing this review to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. There was a wait for a table, which was fine and to be expected, but when we came back inside there were several groups of people who came in after us that were seated before us. Once we got to our table, we waited at least 20 minutes and we never received water or met our server so we decided to get up and leave. I can’t review the food, but the service alone was enough to leave a bad taste in our mouths.

I enjoy local flavors. I decided on the walleye with my choices of broccolini and their specialty bam bam Brussels Sprouts. I appreciate a menu offering tasty vegetables to keep big dinners a bit on the lighter side. Walleye was prepared well. Waiter was moving fast, tonight, but getting the job done.

Food was decent once received, but not worth the price. Expect to pay between $30 to $80 per person for a dinner here. Servers were over worked, clearly under staffed. Was quoted 20 minutes for take out, didn’t get food for over an hour. Watched them consistently underestimate wait times to patrons for seating. There was a large wedding being hosted in their event center, which likely contributed to the staffing issues. Beautiful waterfront location with fantastic elevated view of the lake, with well decorated interior. Docking available for patrons to visit via the water.

Booked a reservation for 7:30pm at 1:30 in the afternoon. Went to the restaurant early and when we checked in, we were told that they lost our reservation and asked if we could wait for the first available table, which in the grand scheme of things we were understanding but a little peeved. While we were waiting for a table, we saw three other parties being told the same thing, their reservation was also lost. Another couple who made a reservation for 8pm came in and got sat right away BEFORE the three other parties whose reservations were lost. We said something and eventually got sat. When we sat down our waitress Kourtney asked how we were doing and we told her about the fiasco up front and were met with “Oh the wait could’ve been worse and I’m not busy.” Her stating she wasn’t busy was probably the dumbest thing she could’ve said. We ordered the second she came. She dropped off our salads, we had to ask another server for more dressing because we hadn’t seen her again. When our food came out she threw them onto the table and never asked if we needed anything or how our meal was. Throughout our meal, we watched her tend to the table next to us and never looked at us once. About 10 minutes into the meal, she dropped off our checks without asking how we wanted them split or if we wanted boxes. When she came to drop back off our cards we were met with “have fun”. Horrible service for food that tasted like a freezer meal. I’ve had bad service before but this takes the cake. Won’t be going back and I would advise anyone who reads this finds somewhere else to go, I guarantee you will be disappointed with Waterfront.

Great food and excellent service!! Plenty of gluten free options! Both times we’ve come here they’ve been very busy but we hardly had to wait to get a table. Excellent view of the sunset over the lake from the patio. It’s a little pricey but in this case you get what you pay for, it was well worth it! Also fun to people watch when there’s a wedding in the nearby banquet area

Pretty good overall! The service and atmosphere are definitely better than next door at Bracco.

Great outdoor seating. Spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer is amazing! I was glad to see lobster and shrimp pasta on the menu. It is an expensive place but if you are looking to splurge the last day of vacation, it is good. It is a busy place so expect a bit of a wait on food. There is a variety of drinks on the menu as well.

We ate here on a Tuesday night and apparently reservations were needed. Since we were from out of town we didn’t realize this and I hadn’t read that in my research. After being seated by the host, we waited 35 minutes for our waitress to come over with water glasses. My daughter ordered a steak, mashed potatoes and a salad. Steak was not worth $31 and she didn’t get her salad until we asked for the check. My other daughter and I shared a flatbread and it was not hot when it came out. Tasted okay but would have been better with warm cheese. For drinks we had water, iced tea and a lemonade. Asked for another lemonade and didn’t get that until we asked for the check. Waitress said she would comp our drinks but it’s not like we had expensive drinks. The view was great but there are lots of other nice restaurants with outdoor seating and views.
