Overall a nice place to get a cheap bite to eat! Definitely the locals hangout! The food and service is decent, but considering the price, it’s impossible to beat. Service is fine, we went during a buffet time and they were constantly running out of stuff even though the place wasn’t full. This includes clean plates, plates were running low and those being brought out were wet and had visible particles on them from the water, definitely needs a bit of work there.

Ahh I’ve never been here before but you can tell the foods home made! A buffet for $11 with a drink?! Amazing! Thank you for feeding us hungry travelers, we’ll definitely come back if time permits!

At first glance seeing the tattered chairs and the poor excuse of recovering the tables we should left then. But we ordered a coke and looked at the menu. The server started off with a long list of items they were out of, that should have been the second clue, but no we ordered the 8oz chopped sirloin steak with a baked potato, bread and 1 trip to the salad bar. The steak was so over- cooked it was uneditable, there were rotten spots in the potato, the bread was actually toast, but the salad bar was decent. There were no offers to refill the drinks, and for not eating the steak or potato, they took 1/2 the price off from 1 entree. NEVER AGAIN!!

My grandfather has told me about this restaurant for several years now. I finally got a chance to join him for some catfish, hot veggies, and some cobbler and banana pudding. It was quite delicious as he described. Will definitely try and get back next time I’m around.

I pick a local place over any huge chain when traveling and at home. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The food, on the other hand I wasn’t impressed. But decent

Nice fresh salad ingredients and many choices of vegetables on the salad bar.

The place looks like it has been trapped in a time bubble since 1982. Food was ok but earnestly made. Good catfish. The buffet was slightly terrifying, but in a nostalgic way. The people were very nice, and are not big fans of squirrels.

Everything was gross. Stopped for the buffet. Silverware was dirty, mashed potatoes and corn were not edible. I don’t know how canned corn could be gel like. Seemed like the locals were fine to eat the buffet. I ordered pancakes and sent them back because they were undercooked. We kindly paid and left.
