Sadly nothing but aesthetics has changed with new ownership. We waited over an hour for 3 terrible cheeseburgers. They were the exact same lowest quality, frozen kind as previous ownership. Fries were not even seasoned. Still hoping they will get some standards of service time and food quality figured out. Its a great location with potential.

I don’t know who is giving this place 5 star reviews…maybe the friends of owners or employees. We arrived just short of 7pm. The place was maybe half full or so. Placed our order, and waited, waited, and waited. Server came out and was telling people “There’s just # tickets ahead of you.” 2 tables that came after us got served ahead of us. Over an hour later, we finally got our food. One fish taco was full, the other looked about 1/3 full. “Homemade fries” had zero seasoning and were completely limp and greasy. Seemed like the oil was not hot enough. Then to top it off, we get the bill, and the server added wrong and it was $2 too much! Went up to pay and pointed out the error, and the guy at the bar fixed it. He had a conversation with the server about it, but server never came to apologize. There was plenty of time for him to go from table to table yukking it up with the locals though. Then I notice the bill is still to high by $1.50. I ask what’s up with that, and he says that’s the credit card fee! Will not be back to this place!

We stopped in for a water ski show. That was fun to see. We will be back again to enjoy a meal and the experience of the lodge. The staff we did see were friendly and quick. We will be back in about a month!

Fantastic food, beautiful view, very friendly staff – we mentioned in passing that it was our friend’s birthday. They heard this and made sure she got a cake! Not just a piece of cake – a WHOLE cake!! It was so sweet, she was so surprised, and it absolutely made her night. HIGHLY recommend!

Had a reservation sat down and never came for drinks after 20 minutes and then had to ask if could get drinks took another 10 minutes to take order for drinks and I believe you used to do a dessert if it was someone’s birthday but I guess not anymore…. always had good service before but seemed to be very lacking last night

Staff very helpful & present. First night (Saturday) very busy and like a lot of places were short staffed. Had to wait 20 min for a waitress. Food was good. We rented a cabin for the week that was clean and in a well keep condition. Has good food for each meal during the entire stay.

Saturday evening we arrived at 530, had two drinks at the bar. Bartender was very nice. Went to our table at 620 pm. Anticipating the Saturday prime rib special. Nope sold out! There were approx 20 people eating before us. Not overly busy. I then ordered chicken and rib combo. ITS NOT RIBS!! Some sort of boneless pork with BBQ sauce drizzled over. Very disappointed. Don’t call this ribs. Large groups came while we were eating. All these men ordering prime rib. Only have to settle for chicken and ribs that weren’t ribs! Owner walks around seems crabby and un carring. Salad bar has 8 bottles of salad dressing. No labels telling u what you eating. Disappointing.
