Lunch was excellent: the tuna poke appetizer was my choice. Tuna was fresh and flavorful, the appetizer portion is a great portion size for a light lunch. Shrimp creole was presented beautifully (very lightly seasoned: if you want a strong spicy dish, you might be disappointed, but my husband was very pleased). The roux is very light compared to other versions we’ve had in other states) but no complaints here.

Very slow, I was kind of forgot about mod service. I wanted I box to take part of my sandwich back to room, ended up eating it anyways while I waited for the check. Took me longer to pay and leave then the eating experience.

Sat at the bar. Great view if river. Immediately greeted by Ruby. She is great. Took my drink order. Gave me a minute and took my food order. Had to try the She Crab soup cause the very good reviews. Also ordered the wings with the Jerk seasoning. Wow, soup was delicious. I add hot sauce to everything. A couple drops in this and …..outstanding. Plenty if large chunks of meat. Some of the best soup I’ve ever tasted.

We ordered room service from here. We ordered calamari, shrimp and a crab cake. The food was delicious, it just wasn’t hot which made the calamari batter tough. The person that took my order was super sweet and patient. I think if I visit again I will dine in the restaurant and see if there’s a difference.

The food was very good but not top notch. It seemed a bit institutionalised for my liking. The service was painfully slow. The proximity to the open air bar, immediately adjacent the dining area, was so loud that it forced me forced me to put earplugs in — not a delightful environment.

Food was okay but the bar service was very poor. There was no greeting, no offer of a drink while I looked at the menu. The food was merely okay, but the bartender never came to check on the food. I asked for a drink menu for a second drink. Bartender never came back to ask what I wanted. And the price for the first drink I ordered was wrong. I want to point out as well, that the bar was not even close to full. I was a bartender myself for many years. 7 people at the bar should be a cake walk. Now, perhaps this bartender was having an off day but especially given the prices this place charges I would expect at least attentive service. Doing the basic bare minimum, like offering a drink and checking on the food when it came out.

Staff was amazing but quite disappointing the full menu wasn’t available all the way until closing considering we drove three and a half hours to eat there , but we did order off of the late-night menu was still outstandingly delicious

It was a Wednesday late afternoon probably between shifts, so our table side service wasn’t there so we shuttled our own drinks, drinks and appitzers were great. This place was highly recommended by our friends so I’m sure we caught them on an “off night”, maybe next time.
