Placed order online and husband picked it up. We had 2 burgers, an order of fries and an order of fried pickles…total order was $30.59. Customer service at pickup was brief but pleasant. Drive home is less than 15 minutes. The food was still decently warm when he got home with it. The fried pickles were on top and the little fry tray barely had any pickles in it…I couldn’t resist counting because it was so ridiculously empty…exactly 12 fried pickles…only 4 of them were decent sized and the rest were almost crumb like. Very disappointing!

I have decided not to spend my money at this establishment in the future. The customer service provided by the two workers during the evening shift was remarkably poor yesterday. Their treatment of black customers raises concerns, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this location for dining, particularly to fellow black individuals.

We stumbled across this place after going to a car show nearby and were looking for someplace to eat. Was a totally pleasant surprise to find this place. The service upon entering was great! Since we never been here before they were very helpful. The food was AMAZING! You had to wait a little after ordering for them to bring it to you but it was so worth the wait. All three of us gobbled up everything quick it was so good.

I’ve ordered from this place about five times. I do remember this is the third order that I’ve gotten from them that nothing was right. My bad. French fries Stone Cold and hard as a brick unable edible. I stood there waiting for my order to be finished. My order was finished but had not been wrapped up. A young woman behind the counter was debating with the young man at the register about who was going to wrap the order. She had already started wrapping the order when she told him to come over and do it which finally got done and my cold fries were dumped in the bag. I got two large drinks sweet tea. Somebody had definitely put unsweetened tea in the sweet tea dispenser. I didn’t have time to wait for them to re-fix anything I was on a timeline. The nonsense that was going on behind the counter was like romper room. It just seemed like a bunch of unruly kids not that they were rude playing around behind the counter. I think when I called back I talked to who was the manager on duty and I’m pretty sure she was a young woman who was rapping the food to begin with debating with the young man at the register about him doing it. The service was lackluster the food was lackluster the hamburgers weren’t even right. There was no consistency to fixing the burgers both burgers had lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cheese with mayonnaise. One Burger had no mayonnaise a half a tomato and a huge freaking piece of lettuce and the motherload of onions dumped on it. The other Burger which was a double had four or five little pieces of chopped onion. One little teeny piece of lettuce and three pickles mayonnaise was nowhere to be found. It was just disgraceful if I’d had time to go back the time I would have asked them to remake the order. My mistake for going back but I won’t make that mistake again. We ended up going to pick up food at another restaurant.

My First time experiencing Wayback Burgers and doing it via Doordash at that. Absolutely tickled and pleased with the whole experience. Food was delivered with care and on time. Food was also packed professionally, as if they took extra care to make sure it would survive the Doordash ride. Everything tasted great, The Double Burger, Onion Rings, and Fries. I WILL be ordering again.

Awesome food and good atmosphere. The classic burger is suuuper good, highly recommended. Service was a little slow, but it seemed like the guy running the register might’ve been new. His coworkers did a great job helping him figure stuff out while keeping the line moving and the new guy was still doing a very good job!

First visit to Wayback Burgers and was very impressed. Ordered the Cheeesey Burger and regular fries and a regular drink(combo). Got it home, about 13 minute drive and the food was great. Cheese burger was topped with onions, mustard and chili, easily one of my top 5 burgers of all time. Fries were crisp and tasty. Great place for a quality meal. I’ll be back!!

Had old coupon for free burger when u purchase fries and drink given at Matthews location but they closed. I drove 11 miles to get to the MintHill location which i didnt know existed. the cashier who was super polite and courteous considered some options to make this work. Manager decided that she is NOT parting with her precious burger. She told me 10 different ways that she won’t take the coupon. I had recorded remainder of the conversation once she showed how adamant she was about not parting with the burger. When she finally realized that I was recording, she say that’s another reason she won’t be giving me the precious burger. What a dump because the manager has that nasty attitude. I would promote the cashier to manager and demote the manager to cashier because I saw he had an actual heart, which was lacking in the manager.

words can’t express how well Lisa the manger and the staff work together during a crazy rush hour. Mrs. Mara not only gave encouragement and thanks to the staff while she guided them which structure. On top of that it was a 45 min wait and she kept the customers happy while waiting! With her fun jokes and care for the costumers and myself, I’m more than glad to give her and the staff a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
