Waynes Pizza is the oldest and longest running restaurant in Third Lake. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to serve the residents of our town (and surrounding) for almost 35 years. Got a large pan pizza with sausage, green peppers, mushroom, and black olives. It was delicious!! I’m from the area, but have been away for 2 decades and have made my way back and exploring new places. Silo deep dish has ALWAYS been my go to when visiting, but I’m pleasantly surprised with this pizza! The toppings were ample, the crust buttery and perfect, the service – great! I will definitely be back!

This is a great place for pizza by the slice. Back when Gamers HQ was in the same strip, it was very common for me to have slices in the middle of sessions at that locale, but since GHQ’s closure, I have found myself unfortunately going to this place comparatively less. I try to visit when I can, e.g. driving through 45 to Gurnee or so on.

I’ve been going to Wayne’s since the 80s. ABSOLUTELY LOVE their pizza (especially their double decker). I have eaten practically everything on the menu, and it is delicious. Service is great and friendly. Atmosphere is small townish, love it.

Ordered out a 16″ pep and green pep pizza with a side order of poppers. Poppers came almost black and then i would assume right from the freezer bag, pizza was very bland and no taste, had to use the ranch the poppers came with it just to eat it. I know times are tough but $33 for this pizza, i will never advise to order this puzza, bills even has better and more flavor

Fairly pricey. The Bosco sticks tasted odd, half had cheese the other half did not and tasted overly fried. The pizza was just OK, not bad not good.

LOVE the pan style pizza!! The crust was buttery and perfect and I lost in the cheesy goodness of this pie! Of note, this is not so saucy a “Chicago style” pizza so if you prefer lots of sauce you may be disappointed or just ask for more sauce on top. I will be back again for more of this delicious pizza! (We ordered the 16″ Pan style with Sausage and Banana peppers added btw)

Wayne’s Pizza is a great place to grab a super fast lunch! 2 slices and a soda for $5.80. Their breakfast pizza is really good too! They have an old school ice cream shop on the side too, give them a try!
