Thursday Tacos I hadn’t been in this Bar in 25 yrs! What ever they did keep doing it! Service was superior while the Tacos were off the hook Everything was fresh ( vegetables ) the Hard Shell didn’t even crack or break, Two Tacos!

Wayside platter for a breakfast that’ll stick with you! Coffee was excellent. Other customers and staff were all very friendly. Service attentive to us and place is fairly large, but cozy.

I stopped just now to meet a friend for a drink. His truck was here I went to walk in the door and was met by the absolute rudest woman . Who informed me that the bar was closed I told her I was supposed to meet a friend and his truck was there in the parking lot. I gave her his name she rudely said no one by that name was here then she said it’s an employee only bar and then said “goodbye”. I was dumbfounded to be treated in such an unbussiness like manner. Someone like this should not be employed in a bar and I pray that she doesn’t own it or run it. Never in the 30 years that I’ve been coming here have I been treated so rudely . I would not suggest anyone coming here. Not if they want to be treated well. I told her I would hope she never came to our bar we personally are friendly and welcoming to our customers……Wild Bill’s Whiskeyville is were you can get 1,) a smile

Stopped by after church services because we believed the Wayside was attracting a lot of breakfast clients. We were wrong. While they do offer a good breakfast selection and the food was good and the portions large, with one cook…we waited forty minutes for our order. Again, good food and good prices, but it’s mostly a local “watering hole.” It’s a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that serves alcohol.

This place is and always be my favorite bar/restaurant. I have been coming in here since I was 18, mostly to pick my parents up so they are safe. It’s a great place to eat. They have daily specials and many varieties of food you can order everyday. They also have a wide selection of beer and liquor. They serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and I have only had the special and it was delicious.
