I don’t normally leave these types of reviews, but I was disappointed with our meals. The apps were fine, and you got a lot for $7 each (onion rings and sweet corn cakes). I got the 2 piece white meat boasted chicken, which was fine. However, the mashed potatoes were pasty, and the roll was not very fresh. The lasagna special was not good because there was literally no sauce on it or in it! The breadstick was dry and came with no marinara. The salad was basic fixings for a taco (lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese). Fried chicken sandwich came with nothing on it (no lettuce, tomato) The waitress was very nice, but we just weren’t impressed with the food.

One of our favorite places. Great meals and specials everyday. The staff are very nice. They are short staffed right now (6/22) but your patience will be rewarded. Fantastic Friday FishFry!

Awesome food & prices. Large portions. Ordered the Prime Rib sandwich. Wasn’t expecting a Rib steak with mushrooms on a hoagie bun, The Ruben is a must have. Wish I lived closer.

My mom, sister, and I stopped here for breakfast this morning. We waited 45 minutes for our food. People that were sat after us received their meals and were finished eating before we’d even gotten our food. Our food was luke warm at best by the time we’d received it. Our waitress didn’t stop by our table once to apologize for the long wait or to refill our drinks. When we went up to the register to pay, the woman behind the counter uninterestedly asked how everything was. My mom was simply being honest (because why not give feedback when asked for it, right?) and said that the service was very slow – and that we waited 45 minutes for our meals. She responded with “Well, WE ARE BUSY.”

Been to this place many a time , sadly has started going down hill, cook and staff wears no gloves while cooking your food, the cook was scratching his neck and skin while in the cookng area, items that we didn’t order were given to us, they did fix the one item that wasn’t in the plate we ordered after going out the door, there is a water advisory posted about high concentration of nitrate in the water, and no sanitation grade posted anywhere visible to the public, no hair nets , no gloves by cooks or any other staff, no the same Wayside so many people remember and spoke highly of. It’s sad to say we will not be returning there again.

First time here since the remodel. Before the remodel I wouldn’t think to stop here but now? Wowza! So clean! Bright! And the food was AMAZING. Who doesn’t love bloody Mary’s before noon!? Under $30 for two people for breakfast!

Food was decent and filling. Service isn’t the greatest but being short staffed doesn’t help the situation. Waitress wasn’t exactly the most friendly person in the world. Otherwise it is nice to see all the changes being made, I am impressed each time I go in and see something beneficial take place of the inefficiency from the previous setup. Overall would recommend giving the food a shot.
