It’s take out for me. I don’t get the chicken anymore. Over cooked. I do like the pulled pork. Better than Moes. The cold salads are good. The baked beans are very very good. The service is hard to beat there. Just nice nice people!

I got the 12 piece chicken . The chicken was very good and hot. The collard greens were seasoned good. Green beans were a little off tasting they were sweet so didn’t care too much for them. Potato salad was good almost a little bland , but tasted store brought.

Disappointed. After a 3 year hiatus from my favorite chicken, I was salivating in anticipation. I ordered 12-piece box. Only 2 breasts in the box and 4 thighs instead of 3. The coating was uneven and over cooked. Most of the coating flaked off the chicken. The coating that stuck was thick, doughy and incredibly salty. Though the chicken meat was tender, there was lots of fat pockets. Definitely not worth my long wait or $23. Kroger offers much better for 1/2 the price.

Can’t argue with some bomb fried chicken. I used to skate past this spot every day and it smelled so good one day I had to stop. House sauce is good. Prices are great. People are kind and they have become familiar faces for me very fast.

Stopped by here for lunch after visiting UVA. Our tour guide recommended them for the chicken. I thought the chicken was pretty good. Crispy, juicy, flavorful. The mac and cheese wasn’t bad. Would go back and try something else if I lived in the area.
