I tried them for the first time when they were at Surrey Square during the pandemic. I admit that their turkey tips were good. Juicy like they been marinated and their barbecue sauce is not too sweet or acidic. Now almost 2 years later, my daughter brought us turkey tips plates from them at their new location at Central Station Mall in Norwood.

Kept passing this place and meaning to stop. Smelled delicious. Finally gave it a try and got some rib tips and wings. I’m a big BBQ-er and am not impressed easily but this place is spot on. The sauce is great, the rib tips are a perfect mix of meat, fat, and crisped up edges. The wings were perfectly cooked. Will be back for sure!

Absolutely the best barbecue in the city. There’s not even a close runner up. The meats are all smoked to perfection. The rib tip portions are certainly generous. The ribs are juicy and perfectly cooked and the chicken too. The greens are amazing and the pinto beans. I’ve been following this truck through three different locations. I hope they’re around forever.

I went to Marshall’s and smelled this place in the parking lot. I wasn’t even hungry but couldn’t resist! They were very friendly! The rib tips were delicious! Mac & cheese was so good! The cole slaw was the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back and try the collard greens and a turkey leg!

The young lady who waited on me was very helpful and had a pleasant disposition. Never having had rib tips, she offered a sample and I was sold !! Food was really good and well portioned. I felt I got my money’s worth and then some! Sides were good too!

Prices were a little high for my taste, but ribs are kind of pricey, so I was ok with it. When I got it home, I realized the green beans were missing. The ribs were literally inedible. I don’t know if they were just a really low quality cut of meat, or if they were poorly cooked. The outside was like leather. The inside was basically raw, and the whole thing seemed to be fat or gristle. There was no saving it. $25 for a slab of ribs and I think 2 large sides. All we got was some mediocre macaroni and cheese. I wouldn’t say don’t go there- maybe I just got that rare bad order. I would say check your order for accuracy and quality before you leave the lot.

Tender, juicy, flavorful and all without PORK (at least on my order). It was pleasant to get some soulful that I didn’t have to huff that everything has some type of meat in it. Don’t get me wrong, I love all flavors and foods, but sometimes you just want GREENS . The service is great and fun for a good truck. Sending prayers that he expands into a restaurant

This food truck is prodigious! This is the closest to my cooking that I have encountered. The BBQ ribs and the greens are amazing! The flavors and seasoning is to die for. Even the desserts are great. The owner has the greatest customer service skills! I love this soul food.
