Our first time to this popular old school neighborhood restaurant. There was a neighborhood car show in the parking lot that was also excellent. We had lunch, which was very good. Hand ground meat on hamburgers and several selections. Side salad and blue cheese dressing were good. The salad had a few cheese crackers on top in place of croutons. Great idea and reminded me of something my mom would do. Chicken may be substituted for beef any burger.

I wanted to like this restaurant. It felt like a time capsule (in a good way), as they have kept a classic decor that impresses you the moment you walk in. Their prices are also retro, with maybe the most reasonably priced menu I’ve encountered in Seattle. However, this seems to have come with a trade-off such that I found the food itself was rather bland. I got the Prime Rib and it just didn’t do much for me, even with the horseradish sauce. Nor did the salad with cheez-it crackers. I think this is a good place for those who enjoy more mild food and flavors, but that’s not really what I was looking for.

I wish I took a picture of the steak, (prime Rib) my partner had. It was delicious, soft to the cut and bite and definitely worth the price. But leftovers will do….it’s even more amazing the next day.

Had a very enjoyable dinner here. The zing wings were great, nice and juicy and not too dry. The onion rings were really crispy and freshly fried. A must order dish I say. The NY steaks and the Fillet Mignon were good too. One of the more affordable steak place in Seattle. A definite worthy visit in a rustic setting. Highly recommended!

Ok, this is a great dinner. It sends me back to when I was a kid and my family would go out to dinner at the dinner in my hometown. The restaurant is very comfortable with a wait staff that give you the feel of being at you Aunt’s house for dinner with the family. They have a classic menu with items you don’t find on menus anymore. I had the Prime rib that was cooked very well and my wife had the meatloaf that was very tasty. In fact we had some left over and it made a good sandwich the next day. The portions are on the larger side so you will be taking some of it home. Another good thing about this restaurant is you can go with a large group or just yourself and you can get a seat fairly quickly. So if you want good comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere go here leave feeling better.

Great local restaurant that has been there forever. You feel like you have stepped back in time in the lounge. Great service, food and drinks. I had the spicy Manhatten this time and it was so good.

Food has gone downhill, but the waitress was worse than the food. Very rude and dismissing. I mentioned to the manager, who is great, tough job, thinking she was having a bad day like we all have at times. Unfortunately, he said that’s the way she is with a big smile and apologized for her behavior. The restaurant smells badly of smoke. Seating areas are dirty and will never go back.
