We decided to try out Weenie Wonder after searching for game shops to check out and finding one nearby. I had no idea it was located right between a Pins and a 16-Bit, with open traffic flow through the building. It was definitely busy while we were there – lunchtime on Memorial Day weekend – but we were still able to find seating and enjoy our food.

Fast service, hot dogs came out hot and good taste. Atmosphere was a bit chaotic, very busy, kids running playing hide and seek in seating areas and overall the whole place was very loud. Some customers seem oblivious to others and stand in the middle of the isle talking and make it extremely difficult to get past.

I visited Weenie Wonder and ordered the Dumpster Dog and a side of mac and cheese. The dog itself had a pleasant pop to it when you bit in, and the topping combination was delicious! It was messy, but that is expected for a good chili dog. The mac and cheese was the real star for me though – it was way better than I expected. The cheese sauce was creamy and had notes of onion and pepper, while still delivering a strong cheesy flavor. I don’t often find mac and cheese in restaurants that I would eat again, but this was one of those rare finds. Definitely recommend!
