Well Hung Vineyard restaurant is NOW open!
We’re thrilled for a variety of reasons! Our building was constructed in 1825, has an amazing history, and is surrounded by wonderful restaurants. And while we’re working on the opening, we’ll begin distributing our wine throughout the great state of South Carolina! We’re located at 49 South Market Street. We’re a full service restaurant. Stop by for brunch (Sat. & Sun), lunch or dinner. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Would like to do 4.5 stars…but I always round up. Had the pineapple jalapeño margarita, raspberry daiquiri and the espresso martini. For $15…they sure were small. But great things come in small packages…some of the most well constructed cocktails! Service was pretty good…but had to wait ten minutes for salad dressing…there was none on the salad. The flatbread was perfect!

Very nice location offering indoor and 2nd story outside seating. The staff is very friendly and knows the menu. The flatbread pizzas were good. Make sure to try a couple of wines while you are there.

Spent a wine weekend in Charleston and had a great time. Well Hung Vineyard was our favorite. Great food an wow those wine slushies were delicious. We got the flight. Watermelon was my favorite and my wife like the strawberry. I also had a Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita. Sooooo good.

Fantastic place! Generous pours on the wine flights and wine slurpie flights. Food was excellent as well – mango chicken, shrimp & grits, and oysters. Great service in a fun, laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We went here for some wine slushies and to begin, those were amazing. I got passion fruit and the wife got pina colada. Then for an appetizer we got the funnel cake fries, they were probably my favorite thing about the. They were absolutely. My wife got the margarita pizza and I got the waffle burger, which both were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place.

We are local and it was our first time here. The place is rustic and quaint. Beautiful old building. Great atmosphere. We got there later in the evening and they were gracious enough to sit us upstairs on the deck, which was nice. We got to watch the people stroll the street below. It was a beautiful, cool night. We enjoyed the wine flights and the garlic parm potato wedges! Yum! Every wine we tasted we loved. Our waiter (Andres I think) was wonderful and knowledgeable. We will be back again for dinner next time. Thank you for making the end of our evening a pleasant one.

Sitting on the second floor balcony, sharing a view of the Charleston Market and sunset, you’ll be sure to enjoy this southern cuisine. From Surf & Turf to Shrimp & Grits, you’ll do well with whatever entree you pick. Though we didn’t pair our dinner with wine, Well Hung is known for their vineyard and pairings. Do enjoy and highly recommended.

First time visitor to Charleston. Group trip dropped us off at the City Market and we were looking for a lunch place. Saw the menu posted outside, looked interesting. Chance visit turned out to be a very pleasant experience. Good well prepared food, wide choice of unusual lunch offerings. Will definitely be back.

The food was fine. I tried the market street margherita pizza. It was fine, but nothing to write home about. The ambience wasn’t my favorite either. The best part was that it was in a historic, old building. But other than that, it just felt crowded and cramped.
