Have driven past this quaint little tavern many times over the years. Finally had the chance to stop in for lunch recently. Very helpful and attentive waitress (Debbie). We opted for the Cuban and Reuben in spite of a delicious looking chicken and pizza buffet. We’re rewarded with two excellent versions of our favorite sandwiches. Both had extremely generous portions of meat. My Cuban had deeply smokey homemade pulled pork with some nicely seared lean ham. Little heavy on the mustard and the bottom bread was ungrilled. Coleslaw was nice and creamy too. Nice sized chunks of Corned Beef in the Reuben with a reaaaaaally tasty dressing that was better than the standard 1000 Island (homemade?). Great breakfast on the weekends. Very crispy hash browns and perfect poached eggs. Hollandaise could use a bit more lemon. Still went very well with the dishes we ordered. Very generous serving of Italian sausage in the Cajun Breakfast. Walleye Sandwich had a nice sized fillet and was very crisp. However, the unseasoned coating was too thick and pieces kept falling off. Bread was also a little dry. Angry Italian was delicious with a red pepper aioli that boosted the flavor.

Wife and I went in on Saturday before Easter for the prime rib special. Service was quick and accommodating. (Think the server was Kaitlyn??) Chz curds were great. Both prime rib was excellent! Wish you could get a bigger cut but was definitely worth it. Tater tots were a bit overdone but the prime rib was perfect.

We have driven by so many times, so glad we finally stopped!! Almost everything on the menu is homemade. Their boasted chicken is amazing. Poutine to die for. Homemade sauces, free pizza during bingo, and happy hours with half off appetizers. Very reasonably priced. Tired of paying 100 dollars everytime we go out, this will be a go to for us. Trying breakfast next.

By far the worst food I have ever gotten a restaurant. The broasted chicken was cooked so long that when I took a bite it was dry bones inside. I also ordered the French onion soup that I couldn’t even eat. All my food was burnt. Terrible terrible terrible. My husband got the fish and it had no flavor. The food took 1 hour 20 mins to get to the table. Lots of trash in the parking lot. The drinks were good- only thing that saved the evening

Love going to the Big Ten! Our bartender Dan tonight was top notch! Our drinks were always full and I had the BEST broasted chicken salad for dinner! The service is great! The atmosphere is very small town bar! Everyone here is great! Highly highly suggest stopping by for Lunch, Dinner, or drink!

One of the Best eating experiences I’ve had in a long time. I don’t understand where some of these one star reviews are coming from. Amazing steak and one of the best chicken parms I’ve ever had. Great Food and good service. Me and my partner have been ordering from this place for a while on Door Dash and it’s been great every time. We finally decided to go to the actual spot. It’s a little inconspicuous tucked away behind the highway but it does not disappoint. Everything came quick and hot. Steak was done perfect, and the portion sizes were generous. Please give this place a shot. They deliver on Door Dash. Recommend the prime rib pizza puff it’s like a giant philly cheese steak that comes with aujus dip.

Just tried my first pick up order with them. Had an eight piece broasted chicken bucket. Was meet by a very friendly waitress who I struck up a conversation with regarding the reviews on the internet. She said she read them all the time and is working hard to make a visit a pleasant one. The chicken was on time too. Didn’t have to wait but a few seconds. .
