The food we got was not only old but not prepared correctly. Things were missing. My wife politely asked for our missing burger and the girl at the counter proceeded to argue with her over it. I had to step in in a more assertive manner to politely demand we either get what we paid for or a refund. They changed their tune real quick when they were met by someone that wouldn’t tolerate the bullying. Im not one to say these things often but i wouldn’t eat here again. EDIT: I’m not going into detail but the food did a number on me a couple hours later. Food poisoning I suspect. It wasn’t pretty.

Terrible experience. My boyfriend and I went to the mall for the first time yesterday on 3/12/23, we had a fun time shopping around. I just moved to NY so this was my first time there, and he hadn’t been there since he was a kid. The shops were great, but around 4:40pm we made our way to this Wendy’s to eat, the woman at the front taking orders and running the register was very rude. Rushing us on our order and constantly stating they were trying to close by 5 pm so people need to hurry with their orders. My boyfriend has bad eyesight and couldn’t see the board, so he just ordered what I ordered to make the process quicker. The lady was also agitated when I asked her what drinks they had as their soda fountain is on the other side of a small wall that’s hard to see past other customers, she was snippy and vague with her answer. I understand that Sunday hours are much shorter than normal hours but rushing customers and only being preoccupied with closing right at a certain time is very unprofessional, we will be avoiding this food service the next time we visit Crossgates Mall.

I’d leave a -1 if I could, ok so it’s supposed to snow and they decide to let the employees stay home, cool all ok. However you probably want to turn off your online ordering or atleast put up a sign stating you’re closed down. I’m convinced there was atleast 1 employee who just dipped or was hiding in an office because there was a trail of tickets on the floor and the place looked open but after 7 minutes of waiting nothing. The reason it’s a -1 star is also because I called the locations number, tried customer text support, tried their online support number… all nothing just completely voided. I’m still trying to get my money back for an order I never received but the entire Wendy’s corporation seems to be not functioning right now

Well I ordered a Baconator, and paid 8.00. My friend and I waited for an hour, and when we asked if it was ready, they just ignored us. We eventually just left and walked around the mall. Didn’t even get a refund! I wouldn’t even go here because they’ll take your money and just ignore you and not give you your food. Honestly I’m still very upset because I was hungry and barley make any money as it is. I basically wasted $8 to eat air.

After they finally got to us, they made my 6 year Olds cheeseburger wrong then made us wait even longer ( now over 10 minutes, yeah it’s at a mall but there is no large lines cause it’s not busy in mall) the regional manager had to step in to make a small burger with a slice of cheese and a couple of pickles.

Absolutely ridiculous. It’s completely machine operated, so you either pay with a card or have to stand there for half an hour and yell over the counter. Society is doomed if this is the future we have.

For the longest time I thought this place was closed, hardly ever saw anyone at the counter. When there was I tried to get a quick bite, clearly this went poorly as the two star suggests. Right from the start the employee working the register sighed and seemed as if I was a demon come to torment them. My order was simple and while the burger came out fine if a little jumbled, the fries were another matter. Some cold, others warm and a few were soggy. I didn’t eat any of them. On top of all this when I caught a glimpse of the workers in the back, there was not one among them wearing gloves or a hair net. Naturally this will be my only visit here.
