My mother and I were going to order food from the drive thru on 8/29/23. There were four cars ahead of us. As we pulled up to intercom to place our order nobody said anything. We waited five minutes and my mother asked if anyone was taking orders. By then there was now at least six cars behind us. Anyhow, some very rude individual came on the intercom and said, “No boss I ain’t ready”. My mother proceed to wait another two minutes. Cars behind us started honking. My mother asked again if someone could take our order. This time the response was “God damn I just told ya I ain’t fricking ready. Jesus Christ.” I told my mother to pull around so I could go in and speak to a manager. The so called manager was at the cash register standing there and doing nothing. I proceeded to tell him about his rude employee was. The manager not only didn’t apologize or say anything to the employee, but he had the audacity to look at me like I had two heads and reply “Well what do you expect? We’re busy.” Six more customers were parking and walking in as I stormed out. Cicero Wendy’s has disgusting and absolutely dispicible individuals working there. I do not care what kind of day you are having…..you NEVER treat customers like that.

Food was COLD, fries were limp, the burger looked as if it had been sitting for HOURS and tasted it too. An elderly couple sitting next to us said SAME THING & we wished we hadn’t spent $20 on our meals. NEVER AGAIN will we visit this store.

Please please please don’t send a salad out the drive thru with no plastic ware and missing toppings. An apple pecan salad just doesn’t hit the same without the blue cheese and pecans….eaten with a spoon…. Unfortunately this is the 4th or 5th time in a row that my salad was missing things.

The food is fine, but the location is horribly understaffed. Each person in the drive thru line had to wait a full 3-5 minutes to order because there was only one person there running the drive thru and cooking the food (at least according to the person who spoke to me over the intercom). Hopefully they’re able to hire more staff soon.

Poorly poorly managed. I order a burger only and im told to pull up and wait. Ok no problem. I pull up and wait 10 mins! So of couse I have to go in and check. Im on my lunch break! Go inside still not done! Manager assures me it takes 10 mins to cook new meat. Why is there no burgers ready at 3pm? Poor management. Be transparent at the window. Say its gonna be 10/15 mins! Poor management again!

I would give this store one star. They only get 5 cause they had this poor guy kali working all by himself all day and he was killing it. He was very respectful and fast but there’s absolutely no reason someone should be alone at a fast food restaurant.

This is the way they hand a door dash order to a driver for a paying customer! UNACCEPTABLE made them rebag this order. The world we live in you can never be to careful with people’s food! It clearly states in the Doordash app if the seal is broken customer won’t accept the order! Get your self together Wendy’s and have pride in your company! This is the second location that we have had issues with!
