My husband and I decided to try their brand new location. Walked in and noticed about 4 employees in the front, looked at us several times, but no one greeted us. Stood up front at the register for a good 5-10 minutes with no acknowledgement of our presence. Finally a young lady, with zero personality, asked us “dine-in or carry-out?”. No apologies for being slow to take our order! My husband told her his order, then I asked for a taco salad. I was told “can’t have that, we ain’t got chili”. I’ve never known a single Wendy’s to not have chili!! Instead of saying “I’m sorry” or offering me a different type of salad, she just stares at me until I hurry up to make up my mind of what else I would want to order, like I’m an inconvenience to her!!

The young lady working the drive through tonight at 8:20pm or so was very nice. We’ve all stopped for fast food and been treated like we’re interrupting or something. She was the opposite of that; very friendly and welcoming. It makes any meal better when you get that kind if service. Very much appreciated.

This establishment is severely understaff and the food shows. I waited in line for almost 1.5 hr to get an Asiago sandwich and the chicken italian whatever it is . The manager was pleasant and Miguel was so humble. They staff isnt the problem the ones who come to work are trying but if you only have 2 if them cooking shut the store down its unsafe. Here is my Asiago with mayo instead of ranch no bacon and no asiago cheese. The chicken was like rubber and the breading falling apart.

Wendy’s was great when it was on Greenville Avenue. Now they they are in nice new building and everything is terrible. I made the mistake of going here even though I had read the reviews. It took forever even though I was the only car in the drive thru, they could not figure out to charge me for what I had ordered, could not figure out how much change to give me after they had entered the order, I ended up getting the wrong food, and for the topper the food I did get was awful. I will never go to this location ever again. Wendy’s corporate had better be addressing this or this place will no longer be in business!

The worst customer service. Went there twice. First time I went through drive through and I had to repeat my order three times for him to keep messing it up. Finally pulled around and he was too busy on his phone to even pay attention. So I said forget it just left went to chipotle’s (Great service by the way)

I had a very hungry screaming toddler in the backseat before we got home and we decided to stop and grab her a order of chicken nuggets that is all because they’re easy for her to eat and not a lot of sick breading like McDonald’s. Well we sat there for 15 minutes with her screaming in the backseat. No one came to the speaker at all there were no cars in the parking lot besides the employees and then we sat in the drive-through trying to get to the window to see if we could get someone to take our order for another 15 minutes with a screaming hungry toddler and from the drive-through we saw horse playing going on in the building instead of actual working.

We walked in and a lady was at the register so we walked up ready to order and she looked at us and said “no I’m leaving” and clocked out and then left. So Darlene came and took our order. Then, most of their soda was out in the front, so I had asked if they had Dr. Pepper in the back and Darlene looked at me dead in the face and said “nope” in the rudest tone. So I walked away and then she was like “I’m just playing we do.” When telling us our food was ready, instead of calling the name we gave her she yelled at us “hellloooooo!” Very unprofessional. I could go on and on. The food was very good, but customer service could use some work. Most employees were great and the manager was very nice but one person can ruin it all.

This Wendy’s has some of the friendliest and most helpful employees in Staunton. There have been a few times we have been to the drive-thru and it can be slow but the employee taking orders is always friendly. We ate in this evening and the only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the cleanliness of the dining room. The drink machines (two) both needed to be sanitized. Most of the tables needed to be wiped down, the floor swept and the trash needed to be taken out. Overall, our visit was a good one. The food was good and the service was great.
