Please think twice before patronizing the Rocky Point, NC location. The customer service is terrible, the employees don’t respect the manager and most importantly, you’re more than likely to experience food poisoning. On 8/30/23 at approximately 630pm, the cashier running the drive thru found it acceptable to place my change of $2 in the bag and directly on top of of my fries and nuggets. I didn’t argue, I immediately requested a refund, she was livid at the request. She walked away from the window while it was still opened and screamed for a manager. She told the manager I wanted a refund because she put the money in my bag instead of in my hand. The store manager looked at her and asked why she did that? She screamed at the manager, got flustered and turned red. She wouldn’t allow the manager to reprimand her. The very nice manager issued a refund and apologized for the inconvenience. The refund and apology were nice but the cashier needs other employment that doesn’t involve food management. I’m leaving this review for reference and reconsideration of wasting your time and money here. Maybe corporate will deem it necessary to retain a frequent customer.

I got a Wendy’s burger after my doctor’s appointment today because I wanted to treat myself. When I got my burger, I took a bite and then noticed that there was a cooked cricket on the meat patty that was the size of a nickel. I nearly puked. I got out of my car and immediately went back inside. I showed one of the employees the insect and asked for a refund, the employee I was speaking to went to grab the manager. When the manager came up to talk to me, I showed her the cooked cricket that was attached to my burger and she didn’t reaction. I heard one of the employees say out loud that they would have “believed me if it was a roach but we don’t have crickets”. My jaw dropped to the floor. They gave me a refund but the manager did not apologize to me or seem to take it seriously? It was the most insane experience. I literally don’t understand why they would even accuse me of making this up when I was holding physical proof? I didn’t get anything free out of it nor did I want anything from their insect infested kitchen. Literally no one cared and it blew my mind. When I tried to calmly ask the manager and then one of the employees why they would even think I was lying and they denied it even though I heard what they said behind the counter clear as day. And so did the people behind me. I’ve worked in the food industry my whole life, was an assistant manager and I am ServSafe Certified. I couldn’t even dream of handling a situation like this and I know the dangers of serving food in unsanitary conditions. I have an autoimmune disease and if they are unfazed by serving insects to the immunocompromised, I can’t imagine the extent of how bad the sanitary conditions are in that kitchen. This is not only incredibly dangerous but extremely disturbing. I’ve never been one to call corporate and act like a Karen but since I have an autoimmune disease, I in good consciousness can not let this slide. I hope they can replace management because that was insane. And I hope they find people who don’t hate their lives and want to make it everyone else’s problem.

I haven’t been able to use my app in 6 months at Rocky Point. They WON’T answer the phone! Heide Trask cross country team is arriving around 1:00 am am I’ve called and called to make sure they’re drive through is open till 2:00 am as stated on their hours of operation. Goes straight to a full voicemail every time!! Close this damn place. It’s a waste of air

This location is mainly closed except for drive thru because nobody comes to work. People making sandwiches put chicken and beef interchangeably. They don’t know large cups from medium. Out of random things like sauce because apparently nobody worked on ordering day. Slow service with cashiers taking orders with earbuds on. Hot inside.

Went through the drive through and was handed the wrong order. Ate some of the food in the bag by accident and they still took the food out of the floor board of our car and gave it to the other person. I don’t believe your supposed to even take food back once it’s been in the persons car especially if they ATE out of it. In addition, my girl friend is a type 1 diabetic and she has received coke with regular sugar on 3+ occasions over the past year or so. Always awful service at this Wendy’s yet I still eat here because it’s close and cheap, lol.

Even when there’s not many other customers there, the wait time is a bit extreme! If possible, order at the drive thru, otherwise you may wait 10+ minutes just for someone to take your order if you dine in!

I have always had a positive experience at this location. After every visit I find myself thinking “why do I not go here more often?”. Unfortunately, it’s a vicious cycle I have yet to break. Regardless, this Wendy’s location is always a great choice when the question of “where should I/we eat?”!
