Staff suck at there jobs. Got cold and old food. I used to eat here alot when i was younger and it got to being really bad. I stopped going there for a long time. Disided to go and try agin and still no impressed. They should close there doors for good. But if they still want to be in biz then they need staff that want to work and make it better. They told us to pull up to wait for fresh fries. I think they forgot about us because it was legitimately 40 minutes. Im sometimes ok with waiting for extra hotness and freshness but never that long, and by the time we ate- which was right when we got it, it was cold and stale.

After driving all day on our way back home we decided to stop and get food. At the drive thru the guy told us to pull forward because we were waiting on fries. One of the food runners came out and tried to give us someone else’s order (which had fries). We waited for like 15 minutes after we pulled forward and multiple cars behind us got their food and left and we still hadn’t got our food. When we went inside and the guy upfront was helpful and got it for us but he ended up giving us the wrong burger and the fries weren’t really fresh. Also when we went inside there was ice dumped on top of the pop machine for dine in customer that was melting and dripping all over the floor. Do not recommend this location and we are never going back.

The ineptitude at this location is appalling. Ridiculously slow service (took 20 minutes to get my food, even though I was the only person at the drive-thru and no one was inside), and it took another 5 minutes for them to figure out how to use the credit card reader properly. It’s been like this for years, I was just hoping it would be better since I haven’t tried in a long time.

No napkins, no spoons, no ketchup in the dispenser, ordered before others but received my order after people who ordered after me, made my frosty and let it melt while waiting some time for my sandwich, and didn’t have a typical experience. When I asked for a spoon I was told there were forks on the condiment stand. The forks were fork and knife sets. Had I known I probably wouldn’t have ordered a Frosty. My sandwich was missing tomatoes, and the extra lettuce was missing the extra lettuce. Not sure what the wait was from because the sandwich wasn’t hot but merely warm. No napkins available, they were out I was told. The wrapper of my sandwich was greasy.

There’s a reason this is the only empty drive thru in Lapeer at all times. It’s dirty like filthy you can see just looking behind the counter. The food here is bad and I love Wendy’s. Eveyone here says we wish we had a Wendy’s we felt we could go to in Lapeer but you just can’t it’s so bad. My one friend stopped eating there years ago cause it’s the only Wendy’s that makes her sick which is suspicious. I was just laughing with a friend today about how crazy it is that Wendy’s here never seems to have business. Someone should buy this Wendy’s and turn it around I think it could do well.

This was such a bad experience it was almost funny. Waiting in line to give order was long. People left. I ordered a single meal with a Frosty and a triple meal with a Frosty. The gal had me pull ahead because they were behind. ???(1 family in dining room and no one else waiting in line for food-behind??) After 10 min. Two other ppl in line behind me got their order and left.. The gal who took my order come out to my car and asked me what I was waiting for. I told her and she slapped her for head and said “I know what happened” So I’m assuming one of those ppl behind me got my order. Five min. later a young man came out with a bag. It had my 2 burgers in it. I told him I was missing 2 fries and 2 Frostys. He came back a couple min. later with 2 Frostys and a bag. The bag had 1 fry. I told him I need 1 more fry. He went back in and got another fry. I was so embarrassed for him. They sent a scape goat. After 45 minutes I got my order. I took it and laughed. It was the most horrible experience ever.

Asked for a receipt on a credit card payment before I handed them my card. They ran my card and then told me the receipt machine is broken. I asked whose franchise it was they don’t even know who they work for. They told me to take it up with corporate. I said OK, then 15 minutes after I left, they called me and said, “Come get your receipt.”

Terrible service! While I was ordering my food, I was constantly interrupted. Then after I got my food (which took about 5 minutes), my burger had no mayonnaise, it had a tiny piece of wilted lettuce, and a thin, seemingly cooked tomato. After that, I looked at my chicken sandwich: the vegetables were coated in mayonnaise and looked old, as if they sat out. Because of these reasons, I asked for pickles (for the chicken sandwich) and lettuce (for the burger) on the side. Instead of lettuce and pickles, I got discolored pickles, onions (instead of the lettuce), and mayonnaise (for some unknown reason). All of them were covered in crumbs of other food (cross-contamination). The only good thing that I can say about my experience is that the drinks were good (although, recently I ordered coke, and got carbonated water with hardly any syrup). I am eating fries for lunch today, worst $27 ever, step it up Wendy’s!
