We were traveling from the great north to south Texas and needed a quick meal. We were greeted by the cashier who took our orders and then stated they did not have fries. No big deal, but you can see fries already made. We kindly left but wanted to use the restroom before we left. It was disgusting! I’m glad we didn’t eat there (they did us a favor really). But you can hear the cooks snickering saying, “we told them we don’t have fries, but we do”. I usually don’t judge, but given how the staff looks like recovering opioid users, I was not surprise by their efforts of wanting to work. I hope the owner do themselves a favor and replace their staff or at least be present for awhile.

My favorite part was when you had me sit in the drive thru for 5 minutes even though there wasn’t a single other car in line. Then gave me the wrong order, and that wrong order was cold, so even if it was right it still would have been terrible. Oh and shout out to the raggedy old lady that just jammed everything in the smallest bag available so it was almost impossible to get anything out without launching fries all over the car. The only person here with more than 3 functioning brain cells is the (maybe slightly latina?) lady that usually works the drive thru window, the one that calls everyone sweetheart. She’s awesome. Everyone else should turn their brains on, and lay off the drugs, before coming to work.

So I spent like $13 on my food and I waited for like 10-15 minutes in the drive-through because they had to pull me up when I got my food. My burger was hard. It was a Junior bacon cheeseburger. The bun was hard and my fries weren’t even halfway filled up and they were cold so I drove back through the drive-through Got to the window and I asked him if I could get a burger that wasn’t hard and full fries the Night Shift that works there which is some light skin guy and some chunky light skin girl both had attitude. He basically told me that I ate my fries, even though I never left their parking lot and I came right back to the drive-through And he had a major attitude and they didn’t give me my sauce for my nuggets, and I ask them politely for my sauce she kind of like threw it at my fiancé and his hand and then when they told me to pull up, they like yelled at us then they came out with my food. I waited until I got home, because I was nervous about eating it because the way they were , I got home and the light opened up my burger and looked at it. There was hair on it and it was sloppy ketchup and mayonnaise was all on top of the bun and everything. They also gave me more cold fries that is one of the worst Wendy’s in Springfield and I will never go back to it. I honestly wish I had corporate number because there’s no reason to be that rude and evil for no reason.

Seemed like everyone was having a bad day. Looked like they were very short staffed. Everyone was on edge. Wait was very long in drive thru even though very few cars were actually being helped as they didn’t have the help to get folks taken care of inside and the drive thru. To top it all off, my food was not fresh. Definitely not worth the calories as they say. I love Wendy’s so this experience was very sad for me indeed.

Food did not smell goof. I saw multiple orders that were not correct, including one of the items in ours. The facility was in need of some attention. There were no towels in either restroom. Toilets were dirty and no toilet paper in the women’s. I say pass on this location.

Food was normal compared to other Wendy’s. But the restaurant was poorly staffed. They kept messing up every order made while we were in the restaurant, and the cashier did not seem to be trained appropriately to take orders nor talk to customers.

Drive thru employee ” male” couldn’t keep up with the order and kept telling me , another male, to ” hold on sweetie”. Then tried to blame me for changing things on the order, when I finally said something about his lacking ability to keep up with said order. I was actually there 2 hours prior, with no problems at all. Really surprising how fast food industry has gone down hill in recent years.

Trash! Every single time I come to this location the lobby is NEVER open! I stopped today at 11:45am and the doors were locked. All signage says that they are open for dine-in at 10:30am. I drive a Commercial vehicle for a living and can not utilize the drive-thru (or I would) for lunch options. There hasn’t been 1 time that this location has been open at lunch time for me to enter the lobby and order food. I look ridiculous walking through the drive-thru. This location is terrible even when it comes to customer service. I feel like there’s 1 or 2 employees that actually try but the rest of them could care less! Absolutely ridiculous!
