Okay, so I have to say that I have become addicted to their Poke Bowls. It’s a dish originating from Hawaii and starts with a base layer of rice, which you then add proteins amongst other toppings to complete your meal. It is extremely customizable to your taste and exceptionally filling!

I went here thinking it was a regular sushi restaurant but it looks like post pandemic they switched to mainly poke bowls with a few appetizer options. The food was outstanding, fresh and delicious. While the place was a bit cramped for eating in person, I would definitely recommend doing takeout.

I am in shock as I write this review. Never thought I would rate this place with 1 star since I order from there weekly. My husband and I love their bowls and rave about them to everyone. We literally order from them multiple times a week. However today when my husband went in to order the owner came out and insulted him called him a Dog and said that they cant do business with dogs. He would not give him any explanation as to why he was refusing him business. My husband was in total shock and saddened and angered by his his response and felt discriminated against. He kept on yelling and insulting him and asking him to leave. My husband just kept asking if something happened, what was wrong. I was on the phone when this happened and heard everything. Then I called to see if I could get an explanation. The owner picked up the phone and said “no more orders for you, I can refuse service call the police if you want” We were really just in shock and have never had this experience anywhere in our entire lives. I never leave negative reviews on small business no matter how horrible the service or food is because I know this is peoples lively hood but the way we were disrespected and treated today is unacceptable . We really don’t understand what happened, if he’s confusing my husband with someone else. We have never had any issues with them ever just so saddened by this experience. Not sure what happened but sadly will never go back there again. Our last order was on Monday and everything went smoothly. Everything was hopefully caught on camera. So there is no room for false accusations. To the owners if there was something that we did or said or anything we would have been so open to dialogue and would have understood and respected any request. However the way that we were insulted and disrespected was disgusting.

Poke bowls were ok before but now have gotten really bad. They don’t even know what offer real fish anymore. It’s a choice between spicy “crab” which is just fishcake, chicken or whatever substance they slop on called “spicy tuna” which is mostly sriracha Mayo and some unidentifiable finely chopped substance. Charged me 1.75 for an 1/8 of an avocado, skimpy on cheap toppings like cucumbers. Over all a horrible experience and I’m very upset about my money being spent here.
