Easter 2023.. Oh my! We had the Easter buffet and it was out of this world delicious. Barbara waited on us and she was like a beacon light in the fog of people. She waited on us with a beautiful smile and wonderful personality and never missed a beat. Robert would take out empty dishes promptly and kept everything moving swiftly. This is a wonderful place to have an Easter buffet. They had everything you want including a drink for a set price. The manager’s name was Nathan and he took her reservation a couple of months ago. He was pleasant. The whole experience was everything that we could possibly hope for. Thank you very much.

We stayed at the Plantation two nights, enjoyed dinner and breakfast at West 82. Breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, great selection of everything from cereal and yoghurt to eggs, sausage, bacon, and sausage gravy biscuits. Very tasty. Dinner was steak for me and a seafood platter for my wife. Well prepared, very good. Breakfast was $15.99 each, dinner with drinks was $120 before tip. Beautiful dining room and super friendly staff.

My visit to West 82 was an emotionally conflicting one. I was welcomed to this beautiful drive up to the main building. I wasn’t sure to park as I did not see any designated signs differing parking for hotel guests vs. restaurant guests. (It was dark and rainy) gave it the ol’ “I’ll just park here I don’t care” method.

The service was very slow. We ate breakfast here twice… the pancakes were so dry and flavorless. The eggs Benedict was tasteless. The bacon looked like it was microwaved. For the price of each meal, don’t bother. McDonald’s has a better breakfast. It was clean.
