I ordered the Classico (chicken sandwich with pickles and special sauce) with no modifications. This is what I received. 1 lonely thin slice of pickle. For a sandwich that only has 2 things on it I’m very disappointed. I was expecting minimum 3 thickish pickle slices & high expectations of a handful of pickles.

Would rate below 1 star if I could. They have to audacity to call themselves a chicken place. Being 1 mile down the road from Hattie’s, and serving frozen Tyson chicken tenders & fries like a school lunch would. And a chicken sandwich with dry, bland, literally almost paper thin meat. A far cry from the Wings Over that was once here. Avoid unless you are feeling nostalgic for Middle School lunches.

Ordered the Nashville Mac n Cheese Sandwich. It supposed to be a chicken sandwich with mac n cheese with hot sauce. This is what I got. Some burnt brown nasty stuff to ruin a perfect sandwich. Called to ask about it and was told that is the sauce they use and to have a nice day. I have had the sandwich before with the last month and it had a normal red hot sauce. If this is what they are serving now. Good bye!

West Ave Chicken is the best around, if you catch them on a good day. The fried chicken dinner (currently $19 for a full bird, $14 for a half bird, both including two generous sides) is perfectly seasoned and fried and the cole slaw and potato salad are just right. But because this is a homestyle restaurant there will be different people in the kitchen and tastes and quality may vary. Because this is Saratoga, it’s worth betting that you get a winner! Also, the chicken takes a LONG time since it’s fried to order and they sometimes get backed up so call ahead with your order.

Absolutely unreal. Classico still is my personal favorite, never had a chicken sandwich nearly this good. beautifully cooked, awesome pickles, and the house sauce is the cherry on top. highly recommend this!

We ordered takeout online. I always thought places preferred customers order online so they didn’t have to pay someone to answer the phone and take orders. Apparently I am incorrect in my belief as I was charged 4% for placing my order online. Are you kidding me?? The food was delicious but don’t know that we’ll be purchasing there again. Really too bad.

First time ordering from here. The onion rungs were amazing. The grilled chicken salad was enough for two people. Bone in wings was great, fish and chips were great. Delivery was fast, and prices are good as well. Definitely will order again.

West Ave Chicken (and West Ave Pizza next door) have new owners & they are cooking up some really delicious food! Already tried the empanadas, taquitos, street corn, wings, chicken sandwiches, a Reuben, and the mac & cheese. Service & delivery are exceptional! I’m a picky eater who usually eats only broiled fish or seafood but this place has given me more options for dinner/take out!
