Exploring Ginger
When we first arrive there was a table ahead of us and it was only the lady as a server. The place got busy right after. After we got our order in the food came out fast and fresh. If you’re not a sauerkraut lover like me and you eat the sauerkraut balls, they don’t taste like sauerkraut. I was surprised. Pretzel was fluffy and a good shareable size. Pretty yummy with the honey mustard. I got the brisket and it was delicious, I did have one meat that was mostly fat that I couldn’t eat it but it was delicious and was pretty full anyways.

Even though I didn’t get to try their food as I already had lunch prior to arriving, I had a wonderful time in West Berlin recently when I went there for a friend’s farewell party. The environment was alive and welcoming, creating the ideal scene for a fun-filled get-together with friends. The staff went above and above to make sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. They were all incredibly attentive and amiable. The restaurant’s tasteful interior design provided a cozy and sophisticated space to socialize and make memories. While I missed out on trying their cuisine, the positive energy and camaraderie of the event left a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend West Berlin to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience in a warm and inviting setting. I’m already looking forward to returning with my family to savor their delectable dishes.

The hostess was super nice, and the atmosphere was great. The food was outstanding as it is every time I go. They have a bunch of German beers and wines that are real tasty. I love this place and the prices are lower than you’d think for such authentic quality food 10/10 would recommend.

Randomly drove by and saw the sign with a pretzel. I used to live in Germany and was with my kid who was born there. Figured why not try something new and see how authentic it was. The food was great and service outstanding. The decor just made everything fit together. As far as authentic… when you have the option to get “the litre” when ordering a beer is a good sign. To complete the experience, when I asked the little one how the food was, it was a thumbs up with “some of it was a little bland”. That screamed authentic German food to me and was NOT a bad thing. I really wanted to like this place but after 2-3 visits I think they should rename to East Berlin. I don’t know if I‘ll be going back which saddens me as I really wanted to support a German restaurant in our community.
