Diners like this one are becoming a rarity. The service and hospitality akin to diners of old, welcoming , and well versed treated us like we’re regulars. The food came out super speedy and was amazed with the quality …..we ordered the a burger which was larger than expected ….fries came out Soo hot and well seasoned ….coleslaw was delicious and home made….also had a patty melt which was as classic as you can get it …..tasty. for the price , good food and service of old time diner experience come to duchess of West Haven !!!

This is one of the cleanest and coziest restaurant I have a ever been when I visited I Connecticut. The food is nice, and great and the crowd is classy and responsible. The customer service is super. There’s wheelchair accessible parking and also entrance for the differently abled. It also be easily noticed from a car in normal traffic.
