Delicious food! A new spot well worth a trip. A very creative and fun menu, with excellent prices to boot. The service was excellent. We sat outside which was very fun. Be sure to check out the extensive cookbook selection inside – the chef’s personal collection!

Lunch and Breakfast around Noon. Cuban sandwich was spectacular. Turkey Club was good. Chorizo skillet was absolutely amazing. Service was on point, friendly, and attentive.

I made a detour to WMK for brunch while driving east on 90, and it was the highlight of the drive.

I’ve been here twice now and it is an unexpected little kitchen in downtown Waterloo, a pleasant one at that. I’ve had the specials both times I’ve been and they were incredible and a refreshing take on a breakfast experience (the Red Flannel skillet- beets, kale, and Bostrom Farms sausage with eggs and Chorizo Skillet). For most people, eggs, bacon and pancakes would suffice, but this place is a step above all of that. And the waffle! My god. It didn’t need syrup of any kind, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, I desperately want the recipe. The coffee speaks for itself, it is NOT traditional diner coffee and I love West Main Kitchen for that. Yes, it is more expensive for breakfast, it’s not Penny’s where they simply sling warm food your way and weak, watery coffee (which, don’t get me wrong, has it’s time and place). It’s much more than that, it is original and delicious and a step outside of the comfort zone if you’re willing.

Great buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup. Outstanding service. Gourmet coffee.

The coffee brand needs to be changed. The reason I say that is because it’s way to strong. Also the price needs to be reduced to 1.50. U need to have specials such as eggs and toast(2slices) 1.75 plus coffee 1.50 total cost of 3.25. You would see your business increase tremendously.

Not what you’re used to; which is something I love! The French Toast was a single thick slice with slices of a strawberry (a little misleading when it said ‘strawberries’). -It’s also more authentic in that it’s been soaked in egg and is wet in the middle, and included real maple syrup. The Tuna Melt was great, but don’t expect it to be hot (cheese on top slightly melted in a broiler or salamander). Spinach Salad – loved it! When it comes to the soups; take the cap off the salt shaker and dump some in, and they’re great! Turkey Club on sour dough was huge for my small mouth, and had turkey on both layers! – I liked that I could taste the sourdough though even though that was thick too! Local awesome ingredients (Muranda Cheese, Fingerlakes Tea, Spinach and more).

Please DO NOT change the coffee situation. I have finally found good coffee. Don’t follow the other locals price point either. We like you just the way you are- unique and different.

You guys are doing everything flawlessly. Please don’t let a select few convince you to dumb down your concept. If they want $1 brown water and AYCE troughs of greasy food for under $5. They have plenty of places to get that around here.
