At West Side Bar & Grill, we feature popular local dishes prepared plantation style.
Most of our recipes have been handed down from generation to generation from family and friends who worked on plantations both here on O’ahu and on Molokai.
Plantation workers of various ethnicities shared food with one another which resulted in delicious combinations that exist nowhere else on Earth!
A true testament that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

We found this amazing place on google and we’re so glad we did! We loved Rina! She was so personable and sweet! I told her to make me a fruity drink! Not only did she deliver one amazing drink but two different drinks just as good! I ordered the garlic chicken with fried rice and it was delicious! I’ve never had anything like it before. My husband ordered the beer battered Mahi sandwich with the garlic fries and he said it was delicious as well! If we ever come back to Oahu this will be a staple for us! Thanks Rina and Mahalo!! ❤️

Our recent visit to the restaurant was highly disappointing. The food quality was poor, with oily and unpleasant shrimps, mashed potatoes made from premix powder, and a hamburger lacking any toppings or condiments. The overall dining experience was really bad, and we won’t be returning. We hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve their dishes. Until significant improvements are made, potential diners should approach this establishment with caution.

This was such a wonderful sports bar! We’re just visiting, but reading the other reviews we decided to try it out. It’s been the best place we’ve tried since we got here! The drinks were to die for, the food was VERY good (and big!) and Marina was so nice! My dad said this was the best fried rice he ever had. If we lived here we’d come all the time!

Read some reviews. Close to wet n wild, so stopped by. The poke nachos were good.. but $35? Fish dinner was basically garlic over what seemed like pre-frozen fish and 3 scoops of rice.. terrible. Best to just have drinks and eat elsewhere.

The food was okay, is was not bad at all but not the wow I have in so many restaurants. The french fries are good. Nice little place, hubby enjoy hoa burger, my fish was a little bit to oily.

This is my happy spot! On a Saturday night, my sisters and I decided to make a stop here to listen to some live music and have a bite to eat. The band was FANTASTIC, and special props go to Summer; in addition, the meal was outstandingly tasty. I had the impression that I was at a pa’ina with my relatives. You should definitely give the Pipikaula, Shrimp Tempura, and the Garlic Shrimp a go. Although we did not partake in the poke, it seemed to be delicious. We felt like we stumbled on a treasure.
