Stopped in to have lunch before heading for the fair. We haven’t been to this place in years. While not fancy, it is like stepping back in time. My wife had a cup of cream of peperoni soup that came with her cheese burger and fries. She liked it so much, she ordered some to take home. I had the simple western omelet with home fries and toast. It wasn’t bad at all. Apparently, the diner is only open for breakfast and lunch.

This is a great place for am inexpensive meal. No frills, good choices, everything is better than expected for a cheap fate diner. The staff is friendly, atmosphere is comfortable. There are usually older folks dining and most seem to be regulars. Says something about the value. Everything was delivered quickly to the table and the wait staff were attentive and friendly without seeming weird nor invasive. I would eat here regularly. It’s rare to find a fully satisfying sit-down meal for two for under $20 these days. And that’s including everything, even drink refills!

Very pleased with our breakfast here. Well priced and we all enjoyed our pancakes, French toast, bacon and eggs. Service was quick. Not a fancy place, but it felt like a local diner with a lot of repeat customers.

Unbelievable lunch specials, so glad we stopped! Soup,sandwich, cold slaw, French fries and a drink all for 9.99!!! And DELISH! Our new stop when going to Albany! Just remember they close at 3pm.
