We stopped yesterday for a late lunch, on our way to the beach. We knew nothing about this place. The food was great!! We are from NC, so we thought it strange that rice was on the buffet. The ribs were good. Sauces on the table we good too. The slaw lacked a little Duke’s mayonnaise. We will go back, maybe on the way home.

Went this past Saturday, the meat was so dry and tough, I couldn’t chew it. The corn on the cob taste like water. Banana pudding, no Bananas. Do better Westwood.

My visit is always pleasant and the food is good. The staff are polite and friendly. I visited last week, and it was just not the same. The food just did not taste as good as it usually does. I didn’t eat all of my take out plate. However, in the past, I’ve always had a good experience, and I will definitely go back again.

Wow. This is some very authentic SC BBQ. The beans and sides were perfect. Amazing coleslaw just the right amount of sweetness and heavy black pepper. The meats were perfect. Being a GA native I expected to have more of a critique. The pull BBQ Pork was out of this world. Chicken and dumplings a nice touch. The fried chicken here is what really made me go wow they have this down to a science!

Not worth the price especially if you take out. There’s never any variation & its just not as good as it used to be. It used to go for the Mac n cheese and dumplings but they are so bland its just not good. I guess they don’t have the same cook as 20 years ago I don’t know but the food doesn’t taste like anything
