I don’t get very excited about subs in general but this hidden (literally) gem has 68 different menu items and their bread is very very good and easily among the best I’ve had. To find the place enter the nondescript office building (see photo) Google directs you to and go down to the lower level via the elevator in the lobby. Follow the mouthwatering smells from there. Totally worth it!

My wife and I stopped here after driving down south for a vet appt, looking for a sandwich on the way home. After looking around for a minute in the lobby, we soon realized we had to take the elevator down a floor. I’m so glad we rode that elevator down to What-A-Sub! This place is amazing! Better that so many mediocre subs I have had in Denver. The ingredients are super fresh and the price is right. Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my 17 years of living in the Front Range. We’ll be back soon.

Great subs! Twice the sub for half the price. Always a quick in and out if you’re in a hurry. If you want to dine in, they have a tv that’s always running sports. If you’re in the area, it’s a great place to eat that isn’t out of the way. Just go to 5680 and take the elevator to the basement.

Amazing little sub shop! By far is 100% better than subway or most of these sub shops! Flavors on point, bread is good and the delli meats fire. The owner is there making sandwiches daily along with his daughter. Support this local business you won’t regret it!!
