I figured that I might be in trouble when I saw both Vietnamese and Chinese food on the menu, and I was was right. Have you ever had coffee that’s weak or watery? Well, in a similar way, the broth at What The Pho lacks the depth and richness of top notch Pho. That being said, the place is super clean, and the staff is kind and attentive. The prices are reasonable. The menu is modest in both the Vietnamese and Chinese options, buy hey, having the two gives you some variety, right? If you want Chinese food and your friend wants Vietnamese food, What The Pho provides the comprimise you’re looking for.

This place was amazing the customer service was SO nice and the restaurant itself is very clean. They have vegan pho, which is amazing. The veggie/vegan soups all have soy based fake meat and the veggie broth was so rich. Definitely in my top 10 favorite places in Indy.

Great tasting food and even better customer service. Staff are super hospitable and welcoming. Their menu has something for everyone from classic Vietnamese cuisine, Thai, and American Chinese style food. Their lunch special is a steal for $8.99, which definitely worth checking out.

I had a wonderful visit to What the Pho. The restaurant was clean, inviting and had very chill date-night or a-night-out-with-friends vibe. Budget friendly. Great customer service. Portions were generous and included allll the add-ins you could ever want. My favorites are the plum sauce and peanut sauce. So spice.
