It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

For WB, the Oakleaf location was attractive, somewhat clean, and the food was tasty. Good: consistency with the menu. Bad: No greeting, no acknowledgment, all staff were working on orders for over 10 minutes when we walked in. Sloppy burger assembly.

It was my first time trying this new location. The place was clean. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. There was barely any Mayo and the chicken was very dry, not fresh. My fries were nice and hot though. For the drinks, I got a coke and it tasted like dirty tap water. Changed it and got a sprite, and that tasted like dirty tap water. I don’t know what was going on with that. I may or may not give them another chance with the food.

The staff was extremely friendly. We got our food fast and theguy named Jeremy M even came ask to double check our order to make sure we were satisfied. The food was delicious and we had a great help from the man working drive thru it was almost midnight on last Sunday and he was amazing help hope to have a amazing experience everytime we go like this one he was the best !!!!

I order a sweet & spicy burger and what I got was bacon bit double hamburger with no cheese. Every time I come here my food is wrong and the workers don’t care at all. The time before that it took them almost 5 time for them to get my order right by then I just wanted my money back. I’m going to stop coming here to eat and all I have to say is people stop going places that the worker don’t care about your food and give you whatever because we work hard for our money just as much as they do!!!

Beautiful new store. Not really busy inside. I was there on a Friday at 1. The drive thru was very busy. They guy at the register was so poorly trained he messed up the people’s order ahead of me. After 12 mins wait. I went across the street to Wendy’s. More of a manager problem. I normally love Whataburger so hopefully this was not the norm here.
