Whataburger Menu – Jacksonville, FL

Type : Restaurant

Location : Jacksonville, FL

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 128 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 2.9 stars. Price $

So, I actually started reading reviews while we were in line waiting to get food. This is a new location, yet the wait time here is a bit ridiculous. Stood in drive thru like 20min. The fries were half cold, burgers were cold. Not impressed, actually disappointed for waiting so long for this location to open. Will not be coming back until they get thier act together, and people’s feedback improves.

YOU WOULD THINK being BRAND NEW their food would be good. BUT NOPE cars were lined up for days so we went and tried this location. WHAT A MISTAKE. Ordering was fine but got to the window I was talking to the employee at the window joking about how all the customers here now and a manager came and told her “close the window”. Didn’t even talk for 5 seconds. THEN lets get to the food. I threw my chicken sandwich away it was COLD as all hell it was so cold it STRETCHED and something in that sandwich sour. My wife’s sandwich was halfway good enough to eat the other half went in the trash. NOW anyone who knows Whataburger chicken sandwiches are good whew child. $12.66 for 2 sandwiches wasted definitely. Light mayo means still put some on there by the way. This NEW restaurant needs a REDO.

Lobby closed indefinitely, drive thru takes at least 30 mins so plan accordingly. Only 1 window open and the other window is used for storage. A take from Burger King’s playbook.

This place is pathetic. This is our first visit to this location. Clearly it should have just never opened. A simple order of biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and a sandwich took 20 min. Gravy was disgusting. Tasted like butter. This is how I left the food. I would suggest going to the location at the other end of Atlantic in Neptune Beach. Never had a bad visit there

i’ve been to this whataburger a few times knowing that it would be a 20-30 minute wait beforehand. since i’m aware of the waiting time, the service was to be expected. i hope you guys get more staff soon 😀

I ordered spicy chicken sandwich from the new whataburger on kernan and Atlantic location this afternoon and took a bite from it when i got home and it was completely raw chicken inside and cold! I don’t recommend this, at least the manager was nice about it and refunded our check.

2 of the best employees there…Nazarene and Aaron. They were patient and kind. Seems like just fast food..in and out…but they were so nice at the register. My payment card was acting crazy and they were most helpful. Checked to make sure we got what we ordered. Will keep going to the one on Atlantic by the Racetrak and theaters!!!a

The burger giveaway was a couple weeks ago. The staff seemed very overwhelmed and couldn’t handle it. Was a great idea for the customers, but if they do it again, they should hire more people or train the staff better.

It seems a lot of folks have had a bad experience here so far. Here’s my take… I went on a Saturday night and orderee to go from ordering inside. I gotta say, I am impressed. It was a pretty short wait considering how packed they were. This place is very popular right now and I really expected a long wait especially with the party of 20 ahead of us plus the drive through was as long as ever. But they got our food to us in less than 10 minutes and oh man… it was SO perfect. The staff was nice enough. I’d say give them some grace. The place is new and fast food work is rough stuff. I’ve been on the other side of the register and from my experience….it’s really management that drives a good experience or bad one. Alllllll that to say…. be kind, and be patient even if you have to wait.

I live close and was excited about Whataburger! However, the wait time is unbelievable, whether you’re in the drive-through or go in!! my husband went in the other night I sat in the car, I watched the drive-through no movement and multiple cars drove away! The staff is super nice and the food we have gotten there has been good! Hopefully they can work to do some thing on the wait time!!
