Whataburger Menu – Smyrna, TN

Type : Restaurant

Location : Smyrna, TN

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 234 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.2 stars. Price $

So let’s just be honest, this visit to what burger sucked. Normally this place serves great food but it was late not.packed and the expierence was horrible. Mayne it’s just this location because our food was cold, the presentation was horrible and my girl Robyn’s burger came completely covered in mustard.. not a good time be careful with this store others are definitely not like this one, at night the food is impeccable because there are 299 people waiting

I finally had a Whatburger but I am still like what is so great about it? I can think of other places that have a better burger including like Freddys, Five Guys and Cookout for instance. It was an ok burger heavy on lettuce wedge and onions. The bun was good. I definitely wouldn’t wait in line for it ( although our basic burger took almost 20 minutes to get even going inside versus the drive thru). The sauce seems to be a hit and and the Dr Pepper shake was unique and really good though. Probably a case of what you grew up on and where. We all have our favorite comfort fast food.

Don’t get to eat here much, it was a nice change… Good burger, we had a regular and double meat with large onion rings, good was excellent. Long wait inside, drive thru is always first prices a a little high, and we were shorted on the onion rings. Still very good!

This was my first time going to a Whataburger. We were going to wait until the inside opened, but we figured we could try the food via thru and come back for a true dine-in experience later. Unfortunately, the food came out to be pretty bland as a whole. The fries were plain, I had to douse them in ketchup and sauce. They reminded me a lot of In-N-Out in the sense that their fries lacked any real substance. The burger had no kind of flavor to it. It was like someone assembled a burger and that was it. If you end up finishing the food, it will be a filling meal, but not a satisfactory one. The drinks were not great. I couldn’t taste any sweet tea in my Half Lemonade/Half Sweet Tea drink, and their diet coke tasted like carbonated water. Aside from the food, the service was pretty unpleasant. You’re in one of two drive-thru split lanes to order, and it seems you’re more inconvenienced if you’re in the outer lane. It was displeasing waiting in the front of the line in the outer lane, multiple people got their food before we finally got ours. The wait is as brutal as a Chick-fil-A drive-thru, without the same payoff. I was severely underwhelmed and disappointed with my experience at this Whataburger. If this is what Whataburger food tastes like, I don’t understand the appeal of this fast food chain. I will most likely not be returning to this place again.

The drive through was not moving one bit, so we went inside. It was the filthiest fast food place I ever recall seeing. (See pictures as examples). Employees standing around with customers helplessly waiting.

after all the hype with the others around town opening thought it would be good to try this one as its actually in town (smyrna). drove in the week prior and left the line as it did not move very efficiently. this was about 11ish so thought what the hey! the line was slow (the lady taking the order was very slow) but finally made my order and then noticed the outside lane was being brought their food in the storm. glad i was on the inside. got my order and was expecting something to stand out as to justify the hype i have seen through the years at the other locations. just was NOT there. nothing special and will NOT be going back. just not worth the headache.

This was my first time at a Whataburger and it was great! My spouse and I had just finished moving and needed some grub and found that this place was open.

From out of town & was looking for food after Nashville’s soccer game tonight. Very convenient that it is open 24 hours. There was a group in front of us and we had quite a few with us & Janisha (excuse the spelling, I believe that was her name- her tag said team manager) took all the orders quickly while being attentive to making sure they were correct- but she was very timely in doing so. She read back our orders to ensure everything was right & the food came very quickly ( and everything was correct) considering how busy they were. It was honestly a way better experience than what the other reviews say. And I think the prices are fair for the food you get

Two cars in drive through and it still took about 20 to get order one car left guess they were tired of waiting. I could understand if both lines had cars. One at window to pay and one waiting ONLY after kept trying to get their attention to place order did I get a response. Not going back anytime soon tired of waiting for service

Everything was great, except halfway through my meal I finished off my soda I guess you have to make sure you ask for light ice because the base line is “would you like soda with your ice”
