It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They are open 24 hours and the store is clean. I just went there before going to the new Flash movie, very friendly cashier and I always see the long hair manger guy there too. I will go back again. I said no mustard on my burger because I’m allergic, but they put it on there anyway. I wish they had listened to me when I specifically pointed out my allergy and how not to put mustard. But they were still nice, none of them were rude at all. And the place was nice and clean, so they definitely hired the right employees who know how to clean.

Most horrible experience ever. Waited over 25 minutes for two adult burgers and one child. Food was cold. Service was even more horrible. Manager was literally arguing with employees in back kitchen. Also to mention, while for food fire alarm was triggered. Waited our entire listen to it. Staff seemed as if it was a regular occurrence. Huge shout out to the Brandon fire department though

Went inside to order, no one ahead of me, and wasn’t greeted by anyone. Lady wearing a headset looked at me and said my apple pies were almost ready (?) haven’t even ordered, but she darted off so fast I couldn’t say anything. Went through the drive through thinking that would be better. Lady on the headset kept repeating my order back wrong or claimed she couldn’t hear me. Waited forever for my food. Didn’t taste bad, just bad service overall. Reading the reviews, it seems like night is the best time to come.

Shout-out to Malik and the excellent customer service. They initially forgot the ranch sauce, but he went out of his way to make sure we got ranch cups after being told it was “discontinued” and handed jalapeño ranch. Give that man a raise please.

Food was delicious and nice and fresh. My only issue is that while they have two lanes to order from we waited almost an hour to simply order then another 15 minutes to get our food after we paid. I have to say when we got in line there were only 3 cars and other people that ordered after us got their food quicker and didn’t wait nearly as long as we did.
