It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

1st time there. The burger, chicken strips, and fries were great. The chocolate shake was very weak. When it came, it was almost vanilla ice cream. We asked about it, and the server said she would go try one and let us know. No one ever came back. We ate it but it was not chocolatly at all.

Just disgusting. The manager Carlos couldn’t operate the sales system making the lines long. He brought me my burger and that made me happy. I walked out took the first bite in my car and It tasted weird and chemically. The second bite I spit out cause I could tell the produce was not ripe. I opened the bother (pic attached) and was appalled. I went back in dropped it on the counter and asked the manager would you eat this? You’re literally serving food that’s not edible.

Ordered my burger with no pickles and they still put them on. Fries were a bit cold and not fresh. Not my favorite place., not very cheap either but the burgers are big.

Our group of 10 enjoyed our lunch here. Burgers and fries were all great. Beverage machine wasn’t dispensing ice very well, but we made do without. Sunshine through the west window (suggest they install a sun shield) made for a hot dining area and sun glare in our eyes. Prices were good and service was efficient.
