It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I haven’t eaten Whataburget in years, because it was never fresh. I decided to try it again tonight because it sounded good. Big mistake. Fries are cold, drink is hot, and the meat has to have been sitting out for an hour, plus I was given opened ketchup. I will stick to McDondald’s.

Visited the Whataburger at E Kenosha around 5:03 pm and had an incredibly disappointing experience. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes, I realized others who ordered after me were receiving their food. When I inquired about my order, it turned out they had lost it completely. Despite being promised prioritized service, the lackadaisical attitude of the staff was evident. After enduring another long wait and witnessing no urgency from the team, I decided enough was enough. When seeking a refund, even the manager displayed a lack of concern. Needless to say, I opted for dinner elsewhere with my daughter. This location falls drastically short in terms of service and organization. I won’t be returning and would advise others to consider alternative dining options.

Fries were hard from the bottom of the batch and cold (not the first time) . ..would of returned them but I didn’t have the time.. just threw them in the trash. Now a McDonalds fries and a Whataburger would be perfect!! Service always friendly at the window. I need to start checking my fries next trip, or just stop at McD first for fries then a burger here….

Visiting from FL for work and never been here before. This place is like a cheaper Five guys tbh. The burgers are super big and we’re really good. The staff here was really nice also especially for a fast food joint. Wish we had this place in FL. My food was out in seconds after I ordered it.

When I walked in the door Christy was smiling and welcomed us in. I can’t remember the last time a restaurant welcomed me like that. My food was not as hot as it should have been but because of the Great service I didn’t complain.

I’ve been to at least 20 Whataburger restaurants. This is the slowest one in existence. It’s just painful. 30 minutes in the drive thru and just 4 cars ahead. One order took 15 minutes. I understand good food needs a minute, but please- CORRECT YOURSELF BECAUSE THIS IS PITIFUL BA WHATABURGER. And has not changed in 2 years, even after remodel? Problems within… and btw, I left after 30 min and still had 2 cars ahead of me.

If it were possible, I’d give this place a negative 5 stars. It took forever to order because the register wasn’t working and it was the sweet gal’s first day at the register. She had to get help and the young man did fine but his female supervisor gave them both the stink eye (this was uncalled for). We waited patiently for our orders and when they finally brought it the burgers were STONE COLD & weren’t what we ordered!!! The waitress had the manager come out. He had the personality of a light pole & no people skills whatsoever. If you’re considering eating here DON’T! I asked for a refund. Manager was really ticked.

The meat was luke warm cheese not melt because meat was barely warm, this is,a commen problem at Whataburger unless you catch them when really busy rotating fresh hot food.This happens dmso much Im going to stop eating here ,and its every Whataburger not just this one for $10_$12 for combo food should be hot this is a trend in Fast Food average is acceptable.
