Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 887 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.1 stars. Price $

While this is one of the cleaner and nicer Whataburger’s I’ve been to, the customer service and attention to detail with orders is just non-existent almost.

Jennifer was what made our experience 5 star worthy. She saw us from the cashier bringing in our stroller and baby and didn’t hesitate in opening and holding the door for us. She was very accommodating in our order and special requests. Hope to see her next time we visit!

Always order online take our and it’s not that busy at night like most restaurants so it always comes out hot fresh and fast! Drive out my way to come to this location. Completely worth it.

Since the fajita chicken taco is gone, they offered to do a “chicken and onion with jalapeno and avocado in a tortilla”. Not a bad alternative but it really wasn’t the same. (Sweet of them to do it though!!) Chopped chicken (womp womp) but lots of it! Jalapenoes were far too hot. The staff was friendly, which is always so nice!! Removed a star because she forgot to add avocado to both tacos. Onion rings were delicious, of course!!

Stopped in after appt across the street because my daughter just had to have Whataburger…(might I add, it literally was 5:30 traffic/rush hour.) Staff was noticeably pleasant & MUCH appreciated.

Gotta love this location. Beacon of happiness on a Friday night during the winter ICE storm weekend. Line was none stop around the building (drive thru only) but the service was really quick. Loved the greeter after you got your meal.

It was around midnight and decided to get a bite to eat. Went inside to order, and saw that the dinning room needed some serious attention. Trash was full, water on floor in front of soda machine. There was plenty of employees,so, there should have been no reason for the dining room to look so nasty. This was at unit 834.

Thr breakfast bowl was weird. The biscuit was dry, the bacon a little too crisp and the gravy a strange texture, but the girl in the drive thru was super sweet

Waited 20 min as they “list my ticket”. Then, the order delivered without one of the sandwiches. I caught that, waited another 5 minutes and got a bag with the burger ice cold. Out of a refrigerator, not even room temp. Poor training and mgt. Avoid thus chain. Most other cars were also waiting a very long time.
