Whataburger Menu – Shavano Park, TX

Type : Fast food restaurant

Location : Shavano Park, TX

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties. Based on 859 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $

By far the cleanest bathrooms that smell amazing of any Whataburger throughout traveling to Texas AND Alabama.. the people were SUPER nice. Speed of service 5 stars. They are on it. They deserve a best Whataburger of 2023 award hands down.

I used to love this location. They are fast and have never gotten my order wrong. However, the past 3 times I have visited, when I asked for the what-a-chicken bites, they “ran out 10 minutes ago”. I believed the lady the first and second time… but after my 3rd visit today it seemed to be impossible that they “ran out 10 minutes ago” every time I decide to come. When I pull up to the window to pay I let her know that I am using apple pay. She then tells me that they do not accept apple pay in the drive thru and that I will have to come inside. That did not make sense to me, because I have never once come through the drive thru and not used apple pay. When I fought her on this, she gave in and let me use apple pay. What was the point in lying to me? Twice! Then, I found a metal shaving in my banana pudding shake. I will attach a picture. Horrible experience, the only thing that saved it was the guy that brought me food out to me. I see him every time, and he is always positive no matter what!

I was given a raw spicy chicken sandwich. I believe it was done maliciously and intentionally by manager Ana and the drive thru person who were rude and unpleasant. We waited suspiciously long for our food. DO NOT EAT HERE – plenty of food stores in the area vs. this one.

I usually love this location and have had great experiences however the drive thru worker by the name of ‘Sabrina’ treated my family and I absolutely awful. When we were trying to order and taking too long she told us to “get it together or come inside.” We were the only people in line. Then she proceeded to not read back our order when we requested and told us to go to the window. At the window she was aggressive telling us she’s “50 years old and doesn’t fear anyone”. We were given attitude for asking for 10 ketchups on a very large meal, and also when we corrected the fact that we were missing a drink. I felt like I was at McDonald’s with this customer service and am sad that my out of country family had to experience this kind of Whataburger customer service (that I had talked so highly on.)

I ordered 5 pancake and sausage plates. This is 3 of the orders I received for comparison. How are these of equal quality? How do I decide who gets which order?

Food was standard Whataburger good. The service however, was a little slower than we have experienced at other Whataburgers. However, the people were very friendly.

I paid and ordered and these scrubs leave me waiting at the register alone for like ten minutes. It would’ve been more if I’d didn’t tell the heavyset manager that I’ll get my cup myself and I’m also waiting for my $80 change. This place needs to get demolished. Pathetic excuse for a whatburger. I rather get McDonald’s

I only writes about restaurants when I am so disappointed that I take time to go write a review. I love whataburger but this location’s food is below the average I did a carry out before from this location which was bad too so i decided to come sit and eat at the restaurant the staff is slow and not very friendly. Food was all sloppy made me think that I am at McDonalds maybe. I just started working near this location so I thought I will be coming to this location regularly but this will be my last visit.

My wife was on her way to daycare to drop off our kids and as unpredictable as kids can be one of our kids needed to use the restroom. Most parents know that when your toddler tells you they have to go you have a small window before an accident. She exit on NW Military right away( I was on the phone as this happened) so I suggested she stop at Whataburger. Logic behind my suggestion…I didn’t choose Exxon at the corner bc it’s a busy store, lots of construction and the cleanliness for toddlers that like to touch everything. I didn’t suggest Starbucks on the other side of the intersection bc of their reputation on public restrooms(old news I know). So within 5 seconds of this decision making process Whataburger was a no brainer. Cleanliness is up to par, big open parking lot, and food is great too. So we hang up and I get phone call after they were done and her experience wasn’t very pleasant! My wife, who’s 7th months pregnant, carrying our youngest toddler, and holding our oldest toddler’s hand gets called out! They told her they don’t have public restrooms and made her buy something in order for my child to use the restroom! The audacity of this person! I never leave reviews but it sounds like some people need to be held accountable.
